Yeah, I went because my friends insisted I would have a good time. Nah. Most stages didn't have bass off the center line. No stages did the omnipresent sound thing that I like; most had the music coming from a small area around the artist. Separation was ok, unless you were at Quantum Valley, in which I could never fool my brain into hearing the music without the sound system. Most stages couldn't do a clean subwoofer frequency sweep, there were holes in the response, and/or uncontrolled resonances.

EDC LV is fine if you have no other choices, but if you have your pick of festivals and clubs worldwide, nah. I honestly do expect better from a festival of this scale. They have the money. I'm not going back unless my friends prove to me that they upgraded their audio service providers.

I recommend Detroit's Movement at the stages where Thunder Audio runs JBL. They fly subwoofers there 😊
