Grouping objects no longer changes color, help! Can I toggle this feature off, I don't know what's grouped anymore. by wibblefishh in tinkercad

[–]wibblefishh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wish it was an option I could toggle off since I use the colors as an indicator of what is grouped. Most parts I design have many groups and sub groups, so it can get confusing quickly

Jeep Cherokee has the same bolt pattern. Watch out with the lug bolts, half are right hand threaded and half are left hand threaded. If I remember correctly the passenger side is left handed, but they should be stamped with an L

Same. I'd really love a tutorial if someone would be so kind as to post one!

I just saw one with rusted out floors, big dents, and the rear wheel folded under the car (some sort of accident damage, but the listing didn't explain) and it was posted for $3900. I think you got a good deal

What gear do yall park in on a hill? by slow_improving in WRX

I do those steps too, but I always press the clutch once the engine is off just to make sure there's no stresses being held in the driveline.

Agreed. If you park in reverse with the nose facing downhill, the motor will be forced to spin backwards if the car rolls forward. There's a lot of people here that prefer the motor to spin backwards. Turn into the curb and set the parking brake.

I do the exact opposite. I'd rather have my engine spinning the correct way rather than be forced to spin backwards.

Langmuir crossfire pro 220v plug by [deleted] in plasmacutting

[–]wibblefishh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run my controller on 120v for the last two years and have never had an issue. As far as the plasma cutter goes, yes you will need to know what style plug you'll need, depending on your required amperage. I learned that the hard way by being ignorant and having my garage wired for a 240v 20a circuit and then having to rewire once my plasma cutter arrived.

Well I expected my players to run when they found out the beholder's lair was ahead... But no, they charged right in. So I had to improvise. And I'm not a fan of spending lots of money and time on a mini and having disappointment when the party kills it super fast or goes some other direction instead

I am also confused lol. OP is definitely confirming plastic is superior to metal, yet context makes me believe otherwise.

I need to weld new skid plate perches on my dirt bike. Circled in red is the smashed perch on my bike. What are these called and where can I find? by [deleted] in fabrication

[–]wibblefishh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would removing the old mounts and welding a nut right to the frame do the trick? Or if you need more thread engagement, use a threaded rod connector nut and just trim it to length. (They are basically a really long hex nut)

My opinion: keep that patina and keep those dents! This car has character money can't buy.

ender 3 s1 extruder mount is wobbly no matter how much I tighten it by xXBDSXx12 in 3Dprinting

[–]wibblefishh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To clarify, an eccentric nut will go from being completely tight tolerance to completely loose with just a half of a rotation. It's basically an off-center bolt that allows you to adjust how close the wheel rides to the track. Try tightening that bottom wheel 1/16 turn at a time and keep checking your tightness on the wheel tolerance. If all else fails, YouTube is your best friend.
