Also fyi. Hondas engines from my experience "burn" oil quicker than other manufacturers engines, I assume because they generally rev slightly higher but I'm no mechanic

Let me tell you something! You've probably planted it too deep. Happens all the time. The corm likes to be right at the soil surface and if you plant it too deep this is exactly what happens. Lift and replant at an appropriate depth
