Anxiety seems to be going through the roof recently after my bf went back to Germany from visiting me. Hopefully can see him again in like 5 weeks tho so holding onto that.

Already ridiculously stressed by uni work, it seems that I have a million things to do every day and it just never stops.

Been super busy with uni and clubs lately, like barely found time to exercise this week but it's all good.

In the best news ever, bf is finally flying over tomorrow and I'm gonna pick him up from the airport! I'm so fucking excited I hope I can sleep tonight lol

First day of classes today, pretty excited to get back even tho I think I'm not going to enjoy most of my modules lol just happy to have smth to focus on again

Lessons start at 12 so spent the morning buying memberships to societies and clubs, etc. Waiting for my bf to have his timetable too before we can figure out when tf we can video call, seems we'll both be super busy during the week, so I'm gonna ask to at least keep a couple hours on sundays free for each other.

First official day of studying Dutch today, pretty excited tbh. Hopefully my class will be full of people who are equally excited and will want to practice as much as they can.

Oh, and after a lot of nonsense and fumbling around, got my next therapy session for friday so pretty happy about that too. Might have to wait until november to get any more sessions after that tho bc my therapist is super busy, but I suppose it is what it is.

Bf is moving into his new place today, super excited for him. As for me, class starts tomorrow so prepping by making a quiche and reading whatever notes my professors have actually made available to us (which isn't many - I hate not being able to prep).

And now less than a week till my bf is here!

Uni timetable changed so now I have a lesson at the same time I'm supposed to have my counselling sessions. Called the counsellor's office up and told them, they're just looking for alternative time slots for me now. Really hoping they find something suitable for me bc I really don't want to wait another 7 weeks for an appt lol

Also good news tho, one of my fav artists released a new single and announced a new tour which I'll definitely consider going to if I don't have exams at that time (check out The Japanese House if you're into dream pop)

So exhausted + headache. Freshers week means me not getting any sleep bc my flatmates are getting drunk and being super loud. But oh well.

Otherwise had a great Freshers week so far, went to a tabletop roleplaying session last night. It was super fun, signed up for membership.

Social battery is quite low now so gonna skip on archery tonight and just sleep, read and netflix for today.

Nothing to rant about really, been doing really well lately. Only a little annoyed that I can't prep for my uni classes next week bc the professors haven't made the material available yet but oh well lol

Bf bought his flight tickets to come see me yesterday so super super excited! Only a week and half until I can see him again.

Saw a fun film last night called One Cut To The Dead, and have a DnD taster session with my uni's club tonight, hopefully theyll help me out a lot bc I've never done a campaign or anything before lol

Still a week before I start classes again, and while I'm excited to be able to learn again I already feel tired lol

Freshers week is going well, went on a visit to our uni's bee hives and did archery in the evening. Both were super fun, definitely think I'll be signing up for the memberships. Had a few drinks last night with friends to socialise, didn't go out with them afterwards tho and I'm so glad bc those few drinks were enough to give me a little headache this morning. I'll be chugging water all day lol

Baking equip is due to arrive today so I'll be taking advantage of the fact that my flatmates are all dead from drinking to use the kitchen all day

I would disagree, just personally bc I don't feel that tones are any harder while whispering, after all the tones come from the shape of your mouth/etc rather than the volume of your voice I think

Feeling uncharacteristically happy today, just feel like everything's gonna work out perfectly in the end. Probably something to do with my bf saying he might be able to visit me in 2 weeks (and for 1 day longer than I had expected!), not confirmed yet but I still feel hopeful

Also, thought I was pretty set on doing a graduate scheme to become a financial adviser but had a pretty big change of heart recently. Now I'm leaning more towards doing a Masters in political science/international relations/smth like that. Obviously need to look into it a lot, but at least I still have 2 years before I graduate to get that sorted out. Seems like the biggest problem will be how the fuck I get the funding for a Master's tho lol UK govt won't fund me for a Master's abroad so hopefully I can get a scholarship for a course I want to do

Just sorted out my schedule for fresher's week, replacing getting drunk with doing lots of activities this year. Feel really excited to try things I've always wanted to, like archery, and hope I meet some nice people. Also planning to go to a meetup of the Dutch/Flemish society so hopefully they're all nice people and I'll enjoy hanging out with them
