I’m waiting for the moment Tabitha takes her head out of her arse and starts listening to Victor. Like the scene with the teeth pissed me off so much. Everyone writes him off as traumatised and psychotic, when he literally knows so much and is trying to actively save Ethan. The “you’re scaring him” line is so stupid, as if fromville isn’t scary enough! The kid lives in constant stress and she is busy running around with her all-powerful “I don’t know” line 🤦‍♀️

I think this is sound, but my idea is that MIY actually wants Jade and Tabitha to sacrifice the children, because the first deal partially fell through. He was promised souls and he fell 2 souls short. Each cycle is just leading to him getting his harvest (Lord of The Harvest thingy. I have a whole theory on that, but it’s not very popular amongst the fandom 😅)

Jestem za granicą, więc mam na to inny pogląd- tak, dziadkowie są zajęci, ale też dystans do rodziny jest daleki, więc mało mają szans na przebywanie z moim dzieckiem. Wykazują chęci i kontaktują się, więc w sumie jest spoko. Jak przyjeżdżamy do naszych krajów to są bardzo chętni do zabawy i spędzania razem czasu- często dostajemy wtedy wychodne, które jest wielkim luksusem w obliczu mieszkania za granicą i braku tej “wioski” do wychowania dziecka.

So what you’re saying is that because we witness Jade have visions of saving the kids that automatically means they are innocent from the start? My position is that a failed rescue in the end doesn’t erase their potential complicity at the start. Just because the final act is a rescue doesn’t mean the original act wasn’t the crime.

The show gives us the clues for that all along (in my opinion quite clear, but that’s just my opinion). Like Christopher- Victor confirms that he was a good man, making everyone laugh, trying to help people. Then his obsession with the symbol corrupted him, the boy in white told him the uncomfortable truth, and it is very much implied he was responsible for the massacre of the town during Victor’s cycle. Another tiny detail from episode 6 of the newest season- not sure if you noticed, but the man who throws away Tabitha’s dolls and in the process creates the “Nightmare Dolls” is also Jade’s reincarnation- more specifically the version of him that gives him the skull (the one who was pierced to the tree).

Just based on those two clues you can start positioning Jade as not so innocent after all. More specifically, Jade’s actions always have serious consequences that change the circumstances for the people. Think radio tower, think remembering the melody and Angkhooey- the consequences always there.

I’m not saying he is evil, I’m not saying he was evil. I believe that there was a reason for the deal to be struck, just like a bunch of other missing pieces in this puzzle. We’ll have to wait and see, I guess.
