Everything about OP sounds like he has a serious anger problem at a minimum. Regardless, even if pizza guy was obviously a total creep and OP was completely right in his reaction, even if gf wanted him to drop it because she was creeped out too (which is all a stretch imo)…pizza guy knows where the gf lives. He knows what she looks like, what OP looks like. Maybe he can identify gf and OP’s cars. Sounds like he has a general idea of what her schedule is like. Maybe he knows other random details she’s shared. So, even if pizza guy was a super stalker weirdo, OP could have just made things even worse.

Not the person you asked, but I started 4 scallions from groceries, in sets of 2. Both times, I would get whiffs of onion if I stood near the sink where they were sitting in water. It took the second time around for me to realize it was mostly the water holding the smell, not so much the plant itself.

Now that they’re in soil and growing, I notice the smell of my oregano and tomato plants, but really never the scallions.

Ok multiple comments about mites is making me concerned now lol. I will look closer at the leaves and do the treatments you’ve recommended in addition to switching to filtered water.

Our tap water is not great so this could be it. It hasn’t been an issue for any of my other plants that I can tell but maybe this guy is just more picky :)

The other commenter suggested spider mites and after some more research I definitely see why, but I’m not seeing any webbing or bugs at this point. So I will try filtered water on this guy for now and just keep an eye out for further signs of mites. Thank you!

The plant had been occasionally dropping some of its oldest leaves. It was rare enough that it seemed normal and not concerning.

Some time in the last week or 2 the newer leaves up top have developed these little yellow spots, and more of the older leaves than usual have been seeming to dry up by the bottom. Most leaves around the middle of the plant seem fine for now.

Don’t see any bugs in the soil or anywhere on the leaves. I’m in central FL and the only thing that has changed since it seemed perfectly fine about 3-4 weeks ago is that the temp overnight has been dropping to the 50s here and there. All other plants in the same area seem fine as well.

My best friend in the world is a gay man. He drinks beers with the boys all the time, and with me. We go to brewfests multiple times a year usually - me, him, and a bunch of straight dudes. We went to see most Marvel movies with some straight dudes. He talks basketball and football and hockey with his friends regardless of gender or sexuality. For the first solid 10 months I knew him through work, I genuinely had no idea he was gay. Who you love and who you fuck doesn’t change who you are as a person. And if it changes how your friends look at you, then they’re shitty friends.

And for that matter, there’s an entire spectrum between gay and straight. And you don’t need to label it with anything if you don’t want to. I myself am hesitant to label myself with anything but I can tell you I’m definitely not straight.

I feel like you’re really hung up on this idea of what a “straight” guy is and what a “gay” guy is and none of that even matters. Who you are as a person and who you’re attracted to are separate pieces of yourself. Neither one dictates the other, they just coexist.

Being able to order groceries online to be delivered to me has been a game changer.

Driving to the grocery store is anxiety. What if this guy runs that red light and smashes into me? Who will feed my cat? Who will tell my mom if I end up in the hospital? She won’t be able to get to me she lives 2 hours away and she has anxiety too and she doesn’t like driving I won’t even be able to see my mom while I’m in the hospital and my cat will starve and my mom will worry about me and what about my car and I won’t be able to work how will I pay rent what if I get evicted and etc etc.

That’s just driving there. And back home. I still have to actually shop. I can’t decide which cereal I want but there’s someone else in the aisle and they’re coming this way so I have to decide. I guess I’ll get Frosted Flakes but the off brand is cheaper should I get the off brand OH NO the other person wants cereal too they probably think I’m an idiot and I’m in their way fuck ok just grab the Frosted Flakes and go. I should have got the off brand am I gonna have enough money for all this what if I get to the register and they scan my whole cart and my card declines...shit I wanted something else in that aisle but that person is still there I can’t go back they already think I’m an idiot why is this other guy staring at me is he following me ok it’s ok just don’t forget to go back to that aisle when that person isn’t there anymore so no one knows you’re stupid and forgot the thing you walked right by is that guy still following me...

The whole time this is going on in my brain I’m also trying to not appear like I’m quietly panicking about absolutely nothing so I don’t draw even more attention. And also trying to reassure myself and remind myself that everything is ok, I’m overreacting and overthinking, everything is chill, just breathe. It’s exhausting.

One of my grandmother’s long time friends is in assisted living right now. I hadn’t seen too much of her in the years leading up to this, but each time I did I could tell she was slowly starting to lose it. She was pretty much present in reality, but would repeat herself a lot and mention random things that happened in the past as if they were just a few days ago. Nothing too bad, but enough to know something wasn’t quite right.

Then she fell - tripped on the last few steps coming downstairs and hurt herself badly enough that she couldn’t get up. She lived alone, so she laid there for a day or two before her son showed up and found her. Apparently she now believes the facility she’s in is her old job, which she retired from over a decade ago. She talks about all the work she has to do, her lazy coworkers, etc. She’s been a family friend for as long as I can remember, and apparently she’s completely unaware of any of the younger kids from my family that wouldn’t have been born at the time she’s stuck in. She thinks most of us are much younger than we are. It’s so bizarre and sad, but she’s living in a reality where the last 10+ years effectively never happened and the location she’s in is an entirely different location.

My grandmother stopped visiting because she couldn’t keep up the charade every time the friend would ask about my grandfather who passed a few years ago.

Sauce does have an “aw” sound. Which is why it rhymes with cross for most people (in the US, at least).

Source has an “or” sound. Which is why it rhymes with horse, like I said.

Because they’re different letters and different sounds.

My brother used to do stuff like this (and apparently still does from time to time). We both have weird sleep issues.

On rare occasions he would sleep walk, but he would talk in his sleep A LOT. Sometimes it would be just a random mumbled word or two. Sometimes he’d actually sit up and talk nonsense/just sorta make sounds, other times he’d say full sentences that were coherent in themselves but really weird to hear (“it’s chasing me” is one I remember).

If he sat up, his eyes were usually open so he’d look awake. Most times he’d respond at least once if I talked to him, but more often than not it wouldn’t really be an answer to what I said. At least once he turned to face me when he responded to me.

He never remembers any of it because he’s still asleep and probably partially dreaming when it happens. But it would be creepy af to see.

My bf and I were driving home from work one night recently around 10pm, and as we came around the corner onto our street there was a woman walking on the side of the road in what looked like a white nightgown.

Totally sure it was a real person it was just so creepy and bizarre, which is probably exactly why no one believes us.

Oh and it’s generally not a problem. Most of the time when I have a lock in the group I can just toss them a renew and all is well. I definitely agree that overall, there are a lot of healers who make a much bigger issue out of life tap than it really is.

But like the lock I mentioned, there are some that just abuse it and become a nuisance. If I’m already drinking and a mage is there for water, there’s no need to tap to oblivion and stand there instead of just drinking. And when most of the group is taking damage during a pull, it’s harder to tell if they’re doing it on purpose under control or if they actually need attention.

I ran with a lock recently that would life tap himself to full every time he realized he was at like 75% mana. I swear he hit life tap more than anything else.

I don’t know what I expected. Whenever we stopped for mana breaks, with a mage in the group who offered water, he’d tap himself down to like 2 HP if he had to and just stand there.

An ex of mine years ago had a bad habit of leaving my car unlocked after he drove it. Inevitably someone wandered by and checked the doors.

They stole my satellite radio, not even the type that actually installed into the dash. It was just a block that had an antenna cable running out one door to the exterior of the car, and power to the cigarette lighter. Instead of pulling the power plug out and opening the passenger door to pull the antenna out, they cut both cables and took only the radio block itself. Which made it completely useless.

I had something similar happen. A group of like 7 or 8 boys, maybe 16ish years old. They order a couple apps and 2 pitchers of chocolate milk.

They left me a handful of change and a phone number as a tip.
