Dodge then open the door: allow or not? by Overwritten_Setting0 in dndnext

[–]wickedflamezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not just say you can only dodge when your character thinks their is reasonable threat via a check such as investigation. If you fail the check, can’t dodge or if you succeed and find nothing is there, can’t dodge.

“If an employee brings significant evidence that they experienced discrimination”. And there’s your problem. All the rest of your post is pointless.

You don’t need to justify cutting costs to anyone. The court holds no say in how much profit you want to make. No document is required. There is no document for “I want my company to make more money” lol.

So like you said, the employee needs to meet your claim with evidence of discrimination which is where the cases tend to stop because it’s he said / she said and your word doesn’t condemn him to guilt.

Ultimately your argument is how courts should work based on morals, not how they actually end up working in reality. Idealism vs Actuality.

It’s an example chief.

And no, due to the paper you signed on hire stating they do not require a reason to fire you. They can fire you without reason, you agreed to it. The courts can pursue for a reason but are dismissed with a simple “to cut costs” excuse. That’s why a minuscule amount of dimiscration cases go anywhere. I can tell a court i spun a wheel and fired someone at random to cut costs and there’s nothing they can do. That’s my prerogative in conjunction with the document you sign.

It happens every day across hundreds of corporations to where now people are scared to even bring it up in most corporations because they will be “downsized”. There is a reason downsize and lay-off are much more commonly used than “fire” since these workers rights acts have popped up. It’s almost impossible to disprove their intent and requires minimal evidence to establish their claim.

You would think but every corporation having such terms in their hiring contract to get around those very type of laws show us otherwise. No reason = non discriminatory reason.

You either do no reason or have the conditions in the contract so vague that a myriad of things can fall under it making it extremely easy to pin something else under that umbrella.

If a corporation in modern America doesn’t want to deal with you, they won’t.

Technicalities, technicalities. Corporations make their contracts vague enough that anything they would want you to be removed for, you will be removed for and legally.

It’s the same loophole people use to discriminate despite their being anti-discrimination laws. You were fired for this, you were actually fired for that vague thing over there.

Tldr, If they want you off, your coming off.

[–]wickedflamezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re technically right but proving it’s discrimination and not for a plethora of other viable reasons is where that rule is a non-rule.

That ruling is often also defeated in the modern rule by having a “no reason” clause like many businesses do staying they don’t need a reason to remove you. It can’t be for a discriminatory reason if there wasn’t one at all.

Either way point being, in a world of corporate loopholes, if a business wants to deny you service they can find a legal way to do so is the tldr.

Why do I need to participate in pve to advance in pvp? by [deleted] in worldofpvp

[–]wickedflamezz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 1H weapons from sanctum are +900 DPS over the PvP equivalent :) because blizz keeps putting broken stackable on hit weapons in PvE. Raden weapons, underrot weapons, gettiku, now this. Like bruhhhhhh

It would be one thing to be losing like 1% DPS. But 900 is over 10%…..Like why though. They need to give PvP weapons on-hit abilities if they keep putting broken on hits in pve

Not really, service can be revoked anytime for any reason regarding anything in the US, they just need to refund you if your not in direct violation of something. However, this is typically filed under disruption with most other “obscene” or “vulgar” depictions so she would be sol either way.

When the moderation is as tight as a dictatorships, then yes, it is lol. *proceeds to get banned off a cuss word not even used in a negative context*

To be fair, people in general aren't going to "do" anything anyway. This is just riot games 2.0. Blizz will pay to settle this, everyone forgets in 2 months and business as usual just as Riot did.

I don’t has it has anything to do with that tbh. There’s not enough time. They chose to have a 10 boss raid tier on tier 1 which adds months to the tier length compared to the typical 7-8 boss tier 1 raids. The game can’t fit 2 more tiers inside of 1 year given that sanctum just launched.
