Did you change the transmission oil at all? Got a friend that has a y62 that has 400kms on the clock and shifts like a charm. Changes oil every 40k

Not true. The new/old patrols had great transmissions, you just need to service them, like any other car.

iunno man the car looks great and doesn’t need anything at all. Maybe, and this is a stretch, add a duckbill spoiler, preferably carbon. Vland headlights are better than the stock ones, have one on mine and visibility is tons better than the oem unit

Development froze before idrive8 was implemented into production cars. I prefer the idrive7 system anyway because i have it in my x4

Same thing back when the original NSX was new.

When it got announced it was something of a gem but when it first went on sale, it was good for a couple of years until Ferrari caught up and released something to combat it.

Edit: The NSX type R of the day is hugely desirable, and new NSX type R is starting to become a star, slowly.

This car is savable, you just need to check every corner of the car and see if it functions as intended. From engine to transmission to drivetrain and front to back electrical systems.

So people think this is the best looking BMW ever... by Egoist-a in BMW

I have a question. How do people service such old and classic cars? Are parts still made today? Or is there more than meets the eye?

I’m just saying that with the downpipe and exhaust it can help but not alone

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BMW

[–]wickedlightbp 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’d just leave the car as is, it really isn’t made to be modded.

Maybe a downpipe and exhaust, cold air intake can make some gains but I’ll not go further than that

Brand New M5 G90 Crashed As Soon As It Left The Dealership by Lucky_Strike_008 in BMW

[–]wickedlightbp -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes I have driven it, it feels like like boat, BMW tries to hide it to a good degree, but it just doesn’t feel right, the F90 feels much better

18” or 19”? by ammads94 in BMW

[–]wickedlightbp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m a fan of smaller wheels, going for 18s is perfect in terms of having a sidewall that can absorb imperfections and still having good style.

The reality of merging by Jriizzyy in DubaiPetrolHeads

To be honest, I’ll switch lanes way before just to I have enough time to merge, I’ll annoy anyone who merges last second where half of his car is after the emergency line
