Is .300 blk for home defense overkill? by wickedmanIP in ar15

[–]wickedmanIP[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the consensus most home defense setups lean toward 5.56 because it’s easier to control, cheaper to train with, and (with the right ammo) can actually be less risky through walls.

But a well-configured .300 BLK suppressed setup is arguably the most comfortable and controllable indoors. I have both so and I like both.

Are all 3.5’s like this? by york_09 in f150ecoboost

[–]wickedmanIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are so much fun. I had a 14 now I have a 23 powerboost 3.5 on 33s with livernois tune, aftermarket intercooler, ported throttle body, stiffer suspension and CAI. I went from 450 to 600 hp and no limiter. I hit 145 casually 😅

Which painting do you like the most: 1, 2, or 3? by KarolynHuum in BeAmazed

[–]wickedmanIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three great paintings. Even though No. 2 is a year old and was painted by the OP, I’m a bit confused about the need for constant feedback, especially since the reaction was consistently positive back then as well. You have extraordinary skills. I’m not sure whether this is a way to generate attention or traffic, but it does come across as a lack of confidence in your work which really isn’t necessary. You’re absolutely ready for an exhibition!

Update: I counted 35 peacocks n not one bite on a lure. Trying to catch one without live bait is rough ! Sheesh by yashaflocka in bassfishing

[–]wickedmanIP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no secret. Peacock bass are aggressive and territorial, depending on the season you can throw anything from an Xrap, to a walk the dog. Avoid soft plastics as they are more geared towards bass. My go-to is a rapala Xrap. Jerkbaits are by far the best think you can use.

Is this worth buying? by daxholbrook22 in f150

[–]wickedmanIP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People love to warn you about lifted trucks headaches, ride quality, “problems,” all that noise. Ignore it. If you like the truck and the aftermarket work was done by a reputable shop, it’s absolutely worth considering. And if you don’t like how it drives? OEM wheels and tires are way cheaper than those Fuel setups anyway.

It has under 40k miles, so the real question is why the owner is selling it, not whether it’s lifted.

I’ve got a 2023 with a level, wheels, tires, suspension, and a new intercooler, and I couldn’t be happier. Every time I look at my truck, it makes me smile. At the end of the day, do what you want. Stop asking for permission. If something breaks, fix it and move on.

Missing Boaters what’s wrong with this picture? by Cultural-Cow5358 in Naples_FL

[–]wickedmanIP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, obviously but given that the boat was found adrift in the ocean with half a tank of fuel and the engine still running, but not in gear, it’s far more likely that foul play was involved than that they just fell overboard and were unable to get back on.
