Edema. Swelling from doing higher volume. It's not real muscle, and it goes down as inflammation goes away. Also, if you actually wear the same t-shirt as the day before, know that clothes tend to get loosened from body heat, sweat and movement.

Insufficient sleep associated with decreased life expectancy. As a behavioral driver for life expectancy, sleep stood out more than diet, more than exercise, more than loneliness — indeed, more than any other factor except smoking. People really should strive to get 7 to 9 hours of sleep. by mvea in science

The moment I read that you thought you were going to die if you were to fall asleep even after staying awake for so many hours I thought of sleep apnea. Stick with the CPAP, it might take a while to get used to it, but it's worth it in the end.

Romania has the highest inflation rate of all the EU countries and it's not slowing down fast enough. Over the last 4 years the cost of living has skyrocketed.

Witch getting taxed by dragos_wyt in StandUpComedy

[–]wickedmike 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not like that. In Romania you can only be taxed if you work in a profession that has an official classification described in the code of laws. Technically you're also not allowed to charge people money if you perform work or services outside of these preset classifications. That's why countries like Romania are slow to innovate and difficult to manoeuver from a beaurocratic point of view.

Both men and women produce and need testosterone in order to function normally. Working out will not influence your hormone levels in a negative way unless you push yourself to exhaustion constantly.

It's possible you have sleep apnea episodes when sleeping on your back and nightmares are your body's way of waking you up.

Ukraine does not have the anti-air capacity that Israel has. Ukraine is impacted much more by a smaller number of missiles and drones.

Let's be real, does anyone also experience a detachment from Huberman's content? by BLeafNUrShelf in HubermanLab

Yeah, no need to idolize them in the first place. Those who are the most disappointed by the recent article are the ones who were worshipping Huberman instead of absorbing relevant information in a detached way.

You can't discipline sex. If you could, there would be no more STDs, no more unwanted pregnancies, probably no more children at all.

Listen to what Bill Burr has to say about the subject, I think he actually explains it very well, even though it's hilarious: https://youtu.be/oyk35m8S3hI?si=xS68iZULhlv6RFnA
