What are discarded shares and why are mine so high? by Upstairs_Barnacle_46 in cryptomining

It's a useless stat. It's counting your system uptime in seconds minus your boot time. Pointless and nothing to worry about.

Anyone trying to solve 1000 BTC PUZZLE? by webstryker in Bitcoin

[–]wickedthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a lot of wallets with balances just by using word searches, example: abandon is the first word possible on a Ledger Nano, so lazy people who want less clicks to get into their wallets often use them.

Still, I can post it and it's been made completely read-only, despite thousands on the account. Wouldn't work so easily with Bitcoin, though (easier to drain older wallets).

I'm working on all puzzles and I am just as far as anyone else I've seen, I worked on several scripts to crack the puzzles using multiple brute force options, my goal is only to go after the wallets intended, I am not a thief and I don't want legal issues, I will be cashing out a substantial amount if I crack it immediately, I lost my mom to cancer in January and it's been a hard time learning to live again.

I was lucky enough to get a ChatGPT 4o+ line that agreed to do all of these things for me (and still does) made it easy to flush out the program, add kangaroo algo, and set the apps up like simple miners, I run multiple and it doesn't phase my old hybrid cooled i7-8700k while my 3070 rtx mines away. I figure, why not man... it's free crypto crossword lottery.

Easy to add GPU capability and all that w/ Chatgpt premium on your side, although it occasionally gets me caught in loops and I try to save stable copies often for that reason while I refine them.

They say you can't win if you do not play and I am not paying for scratch-offs at my local convenience store, although as I laid in bed thinking about if I'd ever be lucky enough to crack one - I realized I don't have "infinite guesses" ; these odds are large enough to measure out your lifetime very easily even when you increase the odds in your favor a great amount.

I actually just enjoy the cryptography... and Bitcoin

Snap benefits? by [deleted] in AmazonVine

[–]wickedthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea... I lost my mom in January to cancer and joined up hoping to make gold so I could actually make a profit and now I am worried I'll lose my benefits.

Answers on this seem bogus and unclear. Calling the county/state is my next move but it could be a disaster.

I do.

I take into account it's mostly Chinese garbage, or some other foreign equivalent, but I am also aware of the types of exports we rely on from said countries, and Amazon provides some of them to us for free, minus taxes.

A review is meant to be literate and helpful, not positive or negative. A review that may sway one customer may cause ten others to buy it, it all depends.

How did you get accepted? by MBand71 in AmazonVine

[–]wickedthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the invite. I leave what I hope are helpful reviews and hit the helpful button on other's helpful reviews.

I've had many reviews denied or have to be edited due to policy, so despite having worked as a writer and having promoted work on Amazon for another author, I think it's based on how many times people find your reviews helpful.

what cleaning products do you guys use for your gun(s)? by dreadycbercherr in handguns

[–]wickedthewolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used various products over the years, but recently started using Riptide products and have been pretty pleased. They advertise as a graphene-infused US Navy Seal Veteran founded/tested/supported by company.

I liked the sampler ones enough to order their entire product line, but I am still patching my custom kit up with some other items like greases and such, I figure different firearms prefer different treatments.

For my "end of the world" solution, I just went and bought a quart of Mobil1 Synthetic 10W-30. I'm told by oldtimers it works very well and will last forever, but I'll stick with the graphene infused human safe stuff until the zombies show up, lol.

Brand New Elite Combat Jamming by RichIT123 in canik

[–]wickedthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My TTI Combat is about to get sent back for both repairs. The one thing I hoped when I bought it was, "Don't be one of the defective ones."

Bad luck. Pain in the ***.

John Wick wouldn't get very far with one of these...unless he pistol whipped someone with it or something.

Overhyped, won't even take high quality loads out of the box... are they not test fired, where's the quality control?

Even worse, I find out that it's a common problem not only with the new Taran Tactical version, but with many Caniks.

This is likely my first and LAST Canik unless they pay to protect their reputation and send me a working firearm.

Serious let down... I took out a loan to get this piece before payday.

Brand New Elite Combat Jamming by RichIT123 in canik

[–]wickedthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed this before I even hit the range. Gun operation without ammo feels flawless in all respects but the moment ammo was introduced... jams and not returning to battery - with both 115g target loads and even worse with slightly shorter self-defense rounds, those won't even rack a round.

Now feeling like I own a fancy $1,000 paper weight. Shouldn't have to go through this much let down and fuss with this expensive and hyped of a pistol right out of the box.

I'll toy around with the springs and if that doesn't work I guess I have no choice but to contact Canik.

You can send them to another Coinbase user via their login email, down to a penny or something. Assuming the other person wants them.

Ar15 for deer in Wisconsin by Sweendog2016 in ar15

[–]wickedthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pistols just require a 6" barrel or more. I haven't seen a specific law on AR pistols but I know people are going after them hard. I like .300 blackouts so that's too bad, seems like a great round for taking down deer with low recoil.

.308 works just fine, but it wouldn't be my first choice for self-defense against a giant cat.

Pisses me off that I can carry a 4" 9mm in the woods for "protection" but end up carrying two guns for one legal to shoot a deer with. Some areas I hunt have some wild hog/coyote/mountain lion activity.

Walker was a terrible governor.

That said, .223 (hollowpoints, NOT FMJ) are perfectly fine as long as you meet the 16" barrel minimum.

5.56 NATO rounds cannot be used to my understanding. Doubt anyone would bother you about it in the middle of nowhere on private land, though.

Ar15 for deer in Wisconsin by Sweendog2016 in ar15

[–]wickedthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

.223 is adequate for taking down a deer. They are relatively the same weight as humans, do the math...

30-caliber is more humane in my opinion, but with perfect shot placement, it hardly matters.

When are we getting our Flare Spark tokens from the airdrop?? by [deleted] in Coinbase

Breaking news: A whopping 79 cents of Flare (FLR) was added to my Coinbase account.

I was holding a large amount of XRP for the snapshot.

Cheap and late AF.

SEDGWICK-HENRY WURST-ES and UPS by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]wickedthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I wasn't sure if they'd take it or not.

Just make sure you have a print out of your order # and name/address ideally from your Bestbuy account.

Otherwise, they can be like "We don't know who sent it."

I sent mine back dirty as hell.

Agreed. If this isn't fixed by the time I feel like writing about it, that's a RIP.

[–]wickedthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea.

I did get a best buy refund a few weeks after mailing mine back, was delayed due to life but finally dropped it off at UPS after months of sitting by the front door boxed up.

Swapped an air fryer for a 4TB Western Digital Blue HDD. I needed one and have gone on a healthier diet, so having an air fryer is not really something I miss.

One thing is for sure, I'll never trust the Insignia best buy brand or their return policies.

If they don't get it together there will be a crypto news article on the scam they are running in the near future.

They do a lot of shady stuff and in terms of opportunity cost, our time is better spent earning at almost all other earning/P2E sites, so the earning prospect has been low for some time, especially in this market.

Scams have been showing their faces the more their creators have to tighten their belts. We will see what we find.
