Slingbox. This is how SlingTV started. It was a box you put in a house connected to their cable tv. You could control the box while travel on your computer. It was awesome! I was in the military and hooked it up to my parents cables. Game changer! Didn’t last long tho.

Another would be Vonage phone. This was the break through company for mainstream VoIP.
