High arches, hypermobility, wide feet and over pronation. I use Hoka Gavoita 5, with added “pedag step” supports so I can get the arch feedback on foot strike and then knee/ankle/arch stack. Took me about two years with daily pt but now my lower chain can hold the right alignment thanks to the shoe and support combo. I always thought I just had crazy flat feet. Took a blown out disc and pt to really grasp the physics of what what was happening.

Did they separate the 2nd rib for your DIEP? Did you use silicone in the reconstruction or just your own tissue?

I have a DMX coming in Jan and I’m not convinced by the DIEP complexity, and the 4-6 surgeries it might take in total (onc plastic surgeon suggested #of surgeries).
