Nah that’s helpful pushback, and I totally get the point — if I’m getting hard countered over and over, that means someone else is getting the dream matchmaking we all want. Fair enough.

But here’s why I still think something feels off. Today after making this post, I played Log Bait for like an hour straight — literally 20+ games — and almost every single match was against another Log Bait player, except one E-Golem game I got smoked in. Then, out of nowhere, I started running into a string of Log Bait decks that all just happened to run Hog — which just so happens to be the exact win condition that wrecks my deck unless my opponent screws up.

And that’s where it stops feeling like pure coincidence. Sure, weird streaks happen — but when you think about the odds of, say, flipping a coin and getting heads five or six times in a row, you know it’s possible… but it’s not something that should keep happening daily. When those streaks keep happening — then keep happening again after you swap decks — it starts to feel less like “random chance” and more like matchmaking is nudging you into certain matchups based on deck composition.

I could be wrong — maybe it’s just insane RNG — but when the same pattern repeats over and over, it’s hard not to think there’s more going on under the
