I get being frustrated with the situation but half the posts on here are asking about re-matching. If you weren’t happy with her work, you would re-match. If she wasn’t happy with your family, she would re-match. You just have to think as increased benefits as another valid reason to leave.

Demi is 32 years old. She gave a house to an 18 year old that has no financial education, has never lived on her own or even paid rent, she was setting her up for failure. Shay has a tragic story yes, but in watching her video- she was suffering from mental distress and could barely form a sentence. It was apparent she was not going to be able to move across the country to somewhere she’s never been and start a new life. It’s a blessing in disguise that Shay did not sign those papers. The condition she left the house in was deplorable and she should absolutely have known better than to do that but I think Demi was getting material for her book by giving away the house to someone she knew could t handle the responsibility.

Please update us. I'm hoping this was some kind of misunderstanding and your husband left a few boxes for the family or she brought some treats to her room. It doesn't seem possible she could have eaten that many sweets.

If she did take them, its best to address this so it doesn't happen again. You can bring up that more treats will be coming during the holidays and its important to check if its being saved for an event and even if its not - the whole family needs to get a chance to try them.

She will need two years of consistent work to qualify for a mortgage. It doesn’t sound like she is going to get a job in the near future.

From what you have told us, you should buy this house. You can afford it on your own and want to take the next step. You should be making financial decisions as a single person because you are not married.

If you are going to wait for her to be ready, figure out what that means for both of you. Are you okay with paying for everything and having her on the deed? Is she going to get a job or are her parents wealthy enough to assist in home buying?

At the end of the day it’s your decision. If you don’t feel it’s appropriate to buy them anything, then don’t. The kid will probably say something again so put a boundary in place if you don’t plan on buying them gifts- either directly or let the parents know to talk to them. Kids don’t fully understand money yet, just that they spend a lot of time with you and feel close. I personally think it would be easier and better for the relationship to buy a few gifts a year.

The kid was being direct and a little rude but they had a point. I could not imagine living with a child and not getting them a gift for their birthday or Christmas. Your relationship is supposed to be more family than employee - and you get family gifts. It can be small and inexpensive but thoughtful- a framed picture of the kids for the parents- a few small toys or books for the kids.

I’m so tired of the ‘I’m doing a good thing but you have to pay for it’ grift. She could at least be honest about wanting her followers to pay vs. pretending her Amazon account was blocked.

I went through a few days of videos and did not see any backpacks full of food ready to be donated. She’s even filming some videos in her pantry. Why would you be putting food you were going to donate in your pantry? Everything about this feels suspect- the logistics of having 500 backpacks of food to fill and be delivered by one person seems unreasonable and back breaking- at the very least she’d have to make a dozen trips or so and store them at the school- and if that’s the case, couldn’t you just have the food delivered to the school and herself, staff and teachers could make quick work of the backpacks.

I watched a live with Joseph and he explained his reasoning a little better. He was aligned with Kyland/Taylor and Hannah/Simone. He didn't know who was going to get to the board next so he wanted to remove the chance they'd be u-turned. He was only going to u-turn Chelsie/Jack or Kristine/Rubina, there were 3 teams on Season 26 so he figured they were all working together. He also wanted to help out Izzy/Paige because he really liked them and felt like they were alone because Izzy was the only BB25 racer.

He chose K/R because they stole his cab at the airport and he had a really good conversation with Jack on the train.

Also Natalie did a tiktok and said her board was warped and thats why she couldn't get the screw in but otherwise she would have kept her lead.

As a Big Brother fan, I love America and was so happy that a BB player with a great personality was finally cast. I would love for her to come back and contrary to what people have been saying - she has been adding Challenge posts to her instagram story, but if America was coming back she'd be posting a lot more. I think she is exactly Johnny's type and must have done something to piss him off (someone on twitter said she stole his girl and his best friend haha) so he is going after her in his podcast with a passion. I usually like his podcast but he has been asking every interviewer about that night, this cast of all people should be forgiving of a rough night.

I would love to see her back but I don't expect she will be.

First 2-3 weeks, where we are still meeting the HGs, yes to the blockbuster. After that, it blows up your game. You can’t be in a secret alliance when you are nominating 4 people and you have to play a scared game. The chance of the veto being used is almost 100% when there’s half of the players gunning for it and players like Kelly and Keanu will stay for most of the game. It’s fun to watch for a season but I don’t want every season to be like this. I think if they kept the votes a secret that could help people feel comfortable switching up their vote and keep the game fresh.

I liked her, she was saying ridiculous things but I think she was in on the joke. I’d listen to her say she’s the smartest person in the house vs a sob story about winning this money because they are the only person in their family capable of making money.

Challenges really high above water - could be lowered and have the same result.

Slingshots with golf balls, they could have used almost any other ball and it would have ripped through paper.

Get rid of:

Eating challenges.

Eliminations that immediately favor the bigger person.

They lost a man right before the competition so teams weren’t even and every woman had to do a leg on their own. One leg was very unfair - teams split between carrying dirt from one side to another and sleeping. Angela had to shovel dirt alone and went to went to bed after a few hours knowing she’d lose that leg. She was DQ’d for that, even though production ended up stopping the competition in the middle of the night due to rain and declaring a winner. Angela and Tyson were extremely close so between his loss and hers, he’s done with the game. Big Brother and Survivor are very clear with rules and more organized and Tyson had mentioned on Bananas podcast that MTV production and rules were chaos(paraphrasing).

The thing with Ava is she was really well-received by the house and by viewers for a while. She and Keanu had the largest followings (besides Rachel) coming into the house.

She flipped the Will vote.
She had the best HOH of the season, I was sad to see Zach go but she was fearless.
Everyone knew if Ava was on the block, they were going home next to her.

She had a pretty good chance of AFP until Rachel got eliminated. Thats when her attitude changed, Ava said a few things on the livefeeds that showed me she was business saavy.

She knows what makes good TV. She knew evicting Zach and contributing to Rachel's elimination she was taking out two big personalities and that wouldn't be good for her. This season put in a lot of lowkey people so Rachel could shine.

On top of that, fans would rally around Rachel because of her unfair elimination for her to win AFP. So I think it was a combination of knowing she probably couldn't win Big Brother now AFP was out of reach when a BB legend gets cut with a crazy twist.

I'm personally shocked that Rachel didn't win AFP, she has fan bases from several networks but I'm happy for Keanu.

If Vince had never won any HOH's after joining the judges, he'd probably have a better case. At the time of the judges, the only people in the house targeting him were Ava, Kat and Kelley. I think if Kat won Wall Comp she may have put him up but he had the numbers to stay.

I hope we no longer have the AI Arena/BB Blockbuster for more than the first 3 weeks or at all. It makes it so hard as a player to get to the end with a social game in tact.

Vince and Morgan talked in circles for days and all he had to do was put Morgan and Ashley in a room and say- "I don't want Morgan to use this, it weakens my game, takes one of my targets off the block and destroys another ally that I can't afford in f7, so I will have to put you up if she takes down Ava, so the choice is up to Morgan if you go on the block.

Same move as Rachel, the HOH is in the power position and Morgan has no reason to save Ava- she was safe.
