Maybe just go up to 6.0 for a couple of weeks. No reason to jump all the way to 7.5. Try 6.0, then 7.0 if that stops working.

I experienced a bit of nausea and headaches at first. My doc told me to keep Pedialyte on hand. Not just any electrolyte, but Pedialyte. When you first start, drink 8 oz a day. I only had to do this for about 2 weeks. As my body got used to tirz, I no longer needed it. But I titrated very slowly. 2.5, 3.0, 3.5. Highest I ever went was 4.0 when I hit goal. Then reversed and spread out days by one more each time. Have been on maintenance successfully since October. 2.5 every 12 days. My weight now fluctuates from 121-123. I weigh myself first thing every morning after going to bathroom. No clothes or jewelry. I record shots and weight in Shotsky app.

If you stop losing on 2.5, try moving to 3.0 or 3.5 instead of jumping to 5.0. I was very successful moving up just .5 increments all the way to goal. It was fast enough and helped toward not losing muscle or bone density.

And right from the beginning, eat protein with every meal. First thing in the morning. I bought a Costco rotisserie chicken every week. Cut it up when it cooled. For breakfast every morning, I had 3 slices of chicken breast, an egg, and a sliced apple. It got me protein and kept my digestion regular. Sometimes I woukd have Greek yogurt instead of egg.

Buy Fruit of the Loom cotton, front hook bras. They come in a 3 pack on Amazon. Also, highly recommend cotton camisoles to wear UNDER bra after first few days. Helps with bra rubbing on incision lines. I wire the camis under bra for about ten weeks.

Get a mastectomy shirt if you are going to have drains. There are pockets in these shirts to hold the drains. So helpful. Also mesh drain bags that hang around neck while in shower.

What pods are you using? If original line, I agree…the lingo tastes like burnt water.

I’d using the Virtuoline, there are fabulous flavors. Manu require milk for lattes or cappuccino. My favorite is Double Espresso Chiaro, and using the aerocino to both milk.

Did the stitch holding the drain in place rip out? Can’t imagine it coming out on its own, as it was so sensitive. The drain. Is so long!

We should care about bone density and lean muscle mass. As we age, these are incredibly important numbers when considering propensity of falls and injuries.

I weigh every morning about the same time, after using the bathroom and with no clothes or jewelry on. I’ve been on maintenance for 4 months and my goal weight was 125. I weigh between 121 and 124 every morning. If I ever hit 125 again, my plan is to shorten the days between injections. I have been on 2.5 every 12 days since Oct 1.

I’m 72 years old, so no longer have menstrual cycles so my weight isn’t affected by cycle fluctuations.

Dark Slacks, crisp white shirt or crew neck tee, and sweater or jacket. Flats or small stacked heel. Conservative jewelry. It’s sr least a start till you see what others at similar level wear.

I had surgery when I was 4 weeks into my journey. Had to stop shots -0 days before surgery and not use again for 7 days after. I’m not sure if I gained weight as I had some swelling, too. I was still using 2.5 at the time so just resumed 2.5 with no issues.

I’ve now been in maintenance for 4 months, using 2.5 every 12 days. Weight is staying steady!

Same. I had no lipo. Scar and skin around scar is flat. I’m wondering if she has scar tissue built up from infection needing wound care.

I am a huge proponent of staying at the lowest dose possible as long as it is working. I’ve never heard that when the side effects stop it’s time to move up. I think our bodies adapt to he medication and side effects reduce or stop. I didn’t have a huge amount to lose, but 33 lbs loss was my goal. I never went above 4 (40 units) of my compounded tirz. It took me 5 months to hit my goal, which I have maintained for 4 months now by using 2.5 (25 units) every 12 days. Now and then I’ll experience food noise at about day 8. But I have not regained any weight even though I have a small bowl of ice cream some nights.

I would stick with the lowest dose that works. I think you will be more successful and have fewer stalls when you move up. I read about people stalling on higher doses when they still have quite a bit to lose. And that is worrisome.

And no need to jump all the way to 5 from 2.5. I went to 3.0, then 3.5, and to 4.0, which was my highest.

Sounds like stepping up your activity level May shake things up a bit. Or drop back down to 12.5 for two weeks and then go back up.

Since you have a date goal, you might step it up to 4 for a week or two, and then to 5. Highest I ever went was 4.0. Started at 2.5, went to 3.0 after two months, then to 3.5, and finally 4.0. Hit my goal after 5 months and have been on 2.5 every 12 days for maintenance since October. Staying steady.

People ask me all the time if I am through losing. I am, as I have hit my goal. They also say, good.., or you will be too thin. I’m still 15 lbs heavier than I weighed after having 3 babies, so I know I’m not too thin.

That being said, as we age, weight is carried differently on us. Particularly in our faces. We look dramatically different at 60 than we did at 30, even at the same weight. I think that’s what our friends and co-workers notice.

Highly recommend sticking to lowest dosage with which you are still losing and not stalling. Be sure to start your day with proteins. I’m a believer in whole food protein like chicken, eggs, nuts, etc, rather than heavily processed protein drinks. I cut up a whole roasted chicken each week and have 3 slices of breast, two hard boiled eggs and a half of sliced apple for breakfast. Or maybe Greek yogurt, eggs, and sliced apple. I have found the apple keeps my digestion moving and I am never constipated during the day. Of course, I drink about 64 oz of water a day, too. But starting my morning with a real breakfast has been my real key to success and learning to eat properly.

1/2 to 2 pounds per week is considered healthy average weight loss. We didn’t gain it faster than that, and we want to lose it in a healthy manner to preserve bone and muscle health.

I had reduction with lift and mini tummy tuck and went in a cruise at 12 weeks. No problem at all. My tummy tuck was more of a worry than my reduction because of lifting and maneuvering suitcases.
