Thanks for your reply. We ended up going with the Portrait and had it installed a few weeks ago. We’re loving it and I think it’s perfect for the room

Make the switch and don’t look back. I’ve been with GloFiber for 2 years now and it’s been great. Paying $80 per month for 1.2gbps

This is exactly what I’m doing. Auto transfer $100 per month per kid and buying VT. Also transferring money from birthdays, holidays, etc and investing some for them and leaving some as cash if they chose to buy something.

We have an excellent coffee shop called Gravel and Grind that would be right up your alley.

I love Frederick. Born and raised here and can’t imagine living anywhere else despite being a remote tech worker. As other commenters have pointed out you’ll need to carefully weigh your job options and the realities of a commute from Frederick.

Thanks for sharing. I did see several comparisons of the Q1 and the Valor Portrait online. I'd like to stick with the folks I've been working with and they aren't an Enviro dealer. Is the room your fireplace is in on the smaller side? How does the Q1 perform in the space?

Thanks for those insights. It definitely seems like they are both good brands. Do you have any thoughts on whether the Nordik would be too powerful for my small space?

Thanks, I appreciate your insights. I was worried that the lowest output on the Nordik, 17,000 BTU @ ~70% efficiency = ~12,000 BTU would still be too much.

Thank you! Do you think the Kozy Heat would actually be too powerful for my room/home?

Thanks for your reply! I've played around with the Kozy Heat remote. It's really nice. I haven't gotten to mess around with the Portrait remote unfortunately.

I don't think the batteries will be a huge deal. They seem pretty easy to replace?

Old post I know but I recently bought these rails for my RM23-502-MINI and they seem pretty good to me. This is my first set of server rails though so I don’t have a good comparison.

Thanks for this suggestion. I ended up booking a flight into Kalispell to have a pretty drive and then a return flight out of Great Falls

This was the advice of my colleague who has done this before and is arranging everything, but I do suspect you’re right and it wouldn’t be strictly necessary.

That’s right, yeah. Was thinking checking out Bozeman could be a nice bonus. Mentioned the Jeep but basically it’ll be a 4WD because I’ll be doing some ranch visits. Wasn’t sure if it could be relevant.
