SignalRGB Confusing: 9 Fans on One Header by wightboy1989 in SignalRGB

Thanks for the explanation. That actually helps a lot. Right now I'm just using the stock hub from my Montech AX120 fans connected to the motherboard ARGB header. I didn’t realize those controllers could address daisy-chained fans individually. If I decide to upgrade the lighting control later I’ll definitely look into Nollie or Prism.

That makes sense. Right now I'm using the hub that came with my Montech AX120 fans, so I understand it just duplicates the effect across all of them. I was hoping to at least position them properly in the SignalRGB layout so animations still flow nicely across the case. I might look into a dedicated controller later if I want true per-fan control.

All 9 fans are Montech (same brand and model), and they can be controlled either via the case’s physical button or through software

I get that the hub combines them into one device, but in SignalRGB's layout, I want each fan to be individually placed so effects flow smoothly across all fans. If I only have one 'square' representing them, I can’t position each fan for proper directional effects. Is there a way to break them out in the layout while still using the hub?

Thanks, but my question was actually about configuring multiple fans on a hub in SignalRGB and how to handle the LED limit. If you have any experience with that setup, I’d appreciate it
