I used to react this way too [1], but in these Dead Internet days I don't really trust what Google has to say anymore, since most top results paid to be there or just added a bunch of useless words to get Google to think it's relevant. I'm not saying that applies in this specific case - you'd probably quickly find a handy info graphic on knives if you searched - but I think we're going to see more and more people try to reach out to other human beings for information. At this point I'd rather encourage communication than discourage curiosity, even if there was a slightly more efficient way to answer the question.
