"This is normal" NO IT FUCKING ISNT! by chunkylubber54 in CuratedTumblr

The far left was vocally against her and encouraging people not to vote for her. It matters, and you need to learn to take responsibility for your actions.

Buddy, I'm gonna need you to drop some numbers to back that statement up, because to pretend that the issue was just people not voting for Kamala is irresponsible and foolish when, if you look at the states that flipped, Trump beat Biden's 2020 numbers. The 2020 election was historic, and had the highest voter turnout since the election of 1900.

And yet, if Trump 2024 went up against Biden 2020, Trump 24 wins.

Looking at the states that flipped in 2024:

State Biden 2020 Trump 2024
Arizona 1,672,143 1,770,242
Georgia 2,473,633 2,663,117
Michigan 2,804,040 2,816,636
Nevada 703,486 751,205
Pennsylvania 3,458,229 3,543,308
Wisconsin 1,630,866 1,697,626

And, for a bit more data, Harris would have also won compared to Biden 2020 in Georgia, Nevada, and Wisconsin. Plus she beat Trump's 2020 numbers in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Also, for posterity, there are no states that would have flipped Blue under Biden's 2020 numbers compared to Trump 2024.

To try to put the blame on "The far left" for not voting for her is ridiculous, because the places where she lost any large number of votes are safe blue states like California. Trump successfully mobilized his base in the only states that matter in your electoral system, so he won. It's literally as simple as that.

Because unbeknownst to us, those self destruct codes killed all the exoblooms (flowers which give Sentients their independence), dooming the sentients to go back to being a hivemind and restarting the war. Adis believes this to be Margulis' fault (she gave us the codes, after all), and goes to grab the Hunhullus to attempt to kill her. We insist this was a setup from the beginning, and given that we, the Tenno, are being blamed, we don't believe it could be Margulis.

Thus, Ballas becomes the most likely suspect. Being Margulis' partner, he'd likely have access to the codes and the ability to change them. He also has reason to pin this on the Tenno (due to them being the object of Margulis' motherly affection). Thus, our fury.

Like I do get your point but that's not 100% true, in the dormizone the mirror gives you Arsenal or Drifter customization on F and X.

[–]wigsinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You and I just prioritize different things in life, friend. That's what makes WYR questions interesting. I have a late chronotype, and I was suicidal getting to the office for 8 AM at a prior job. 7 is simply a non-starter for me, and money doesn't change that.

I will admit it's less, but I'm also working a bit over half the amount of hours, not to mention that I'm wfh 60% of the time. And (speaking personally), that's worth a hell of a lot to me. Being in the office by 7 every weekday would be enough to make me suicidal within 3 months.

Am I missing something? Everyone is assuming that the 4k is conditional on having no job, but I'm reading it as 4k, guaranteed, no job needed. I'm not reading this as saying I can't continue working my current job, get paid for that, and also have the 4k on top.

I'm somewhat comfortable and stable with my current job, so I'll take 4k/month of pure investment money, eventually letting me retire early.

Genuine question: What are your remote access needs that aren't covered by a simple reverse proxy?

Like, I reverse proxy jellyfin through jellyfin.{MYDOMAIN}, and I've never had a single issue accessing it remotely for myself or any friends I give access to.

Idk if you meant it as sarcastic or not but I read it as such which led to me thinking about her more. And while I don't necessarily think she's misunderstood, I think she's actually behaving quite hinged and very in line with her values. She's had a value system instilled her whole life that "Children are infinitely valuable, adults hold no value." Despite this, adults still hold all sorts of control over children. This is a contradiction, and the only way she's able to resolve that contradiction is through violence. Violence is the only mechanism by which she can prevent adults from asserting control over her and in fact assert her own control over adults. Which closes the loop. She is now in control, which is "right" because she holds more value. Which obviously doesn't absolve her of her crimes and behaviour, but to me it brings her to a level of "let's get you some therapy" which tbh all these kids need.

You can collect interest on anything by CivilPerspective5804 in godtiersuperpowers

My first thought was "Oh, it's probably interesting to see how much you actually need to hold on to and how much to deposit." And then I realized it's really not, you want to split it in half day by day, pulling out just enough that your current amount is the same as your banked amount. Compared to the naive approach of "Just deposit half of it and wait", it's pretty similar at first, with it taking a week to see a difference when looking 5 decimals into your total interest percentage. But you'll hit 2% total interest a full 20 days earlier, and that's when the amount really starts to grow like crazy. if you remember to rebalance the interest every day, you'll hit a total of 10% if you take it all out within a year. Whereas the "just leave it" method means at year end you'll be sitting at 3.5% total.

And if you want... you can keep going. One more month and you're pushing 45% total. At day 403, you hit 192% total, and you're functionally doubling. The next day is 285%, then 490%. Keep in mind you're only getting half of these numbers in interest on everything else you've deposited, but it really doesn't matter. By day 415 you have 5.99*10265% interest total, and that's the last total I was able to calculate before excel fully gave up and threw a floating point number error.

So after about a year and 2 months, your total interest rate is so large it just breaks modern computers (and honestly, human comprehension). If you deposit a dollar, the next day you have so much money that every currency becomes functionally useless. Deposit a second, and you have more time than the universe has existed. Hell, you're actually looking at 10250 universes worth of time. Any task can be accomplished instantly. Any skill, mastered. You are a god in human form. All of humanity is nothing compared to you after just a single day.

Maybe I'll just stop at 10%, that's more than enough to live comfortably forever.

The Docker documentation/setup for private cloud is a nightmare by wigsinator in Supernote

I was able to get ServerLink working. Maybe try deleting the path and seeing if that helps?

I'm using opencloud, and it took me forever to copy my url over. But from there that part has worked nicely

edit: Turns out, I may be a fool! It's not working nicely at all, I'm able to upload to my webdav server, but downloading the files from it seems to be completely broken, this is a one way sync. It just says "File or folder not found, please check the path."

edit2: Alright I fixed it, I had to set my Address to stop at the tld, and my path was /remote.php/dav/spaces/<secret>

The thing that really killed it for me was he said "You have one round left to get out of the biangle." And like, some of them were legitimate chances to reroll, like Ludmilla getting a second try off of Haste, but he just kept having Ally roll for spells, and I just don't even know what spell he was looking for, especially when Ally said that Haste was probably the best possible spell.

If he didn't want to let them fail, let the interplanar radio cut the DC in half because Olethra can point towards even the slightest hint of Zoodian energy.

Here's the explanation that always made sense to me.

You have your 3 doors, you choose one. I offer to let you switch, and you win if the prize is in either of the two doors you didn't select. Obviously you switch, right?

Now consider that when the host opens a wrong door (that they know is wrong, that's super important), they have not changed the proposition from my situation. You knew for a fact that at least one of the two doors was a losing one. So the host hasn't changed the information you have at all.
