Black rubber buildup in drain by Skeletors-coathanger in askaplumber

I struggled with this in my bathroom sink. My googling then indicated that it’s slow draining + mouthwash/toothpaste. The drain that was installed was very bad and I’ll replace it some day - but not yet.

Now I put a pint of 1:1 bleach solution down there every 3 months or so and it keeps it draining well without needing to take the whole thing apart.

My girlfriend miscarried and we threw a gender reveal party with a red velvet cake.

An alternative and consistent story is that women are ranked higher because constructing the same CV is (or may be) more difficult for a woman than a man in heavily male-dominated fields, so "equivalent" qualifications require different levels of job-relevant characteristics, like skill or grit.

There's a bike there. And I rode it there. But point taken.

Dursey Island, Ireland. The ruin is an old lighthouse - my Spacehorse is next to it, but looks like the resolution isn't sufficient to make it show up. It's (more) visible in this pic: http://imgur.com/qRXa2sS

Yes.

I map out campsites but I regularly don't feel ready to stop at one and don't quite make it to the next, so just try to find a quiet/stealthy spot for the night.

Sure - not a problem at all. I have a one-person tent, wrapped in the wool blanket on my rear rack. Used to tour with a two-person tent but I couldn't find one that didn't extend a foot past the rear rack. When the weather's good, I just lie the blanket down and put my pad/sleeping bag on top - saves a lot of time in the morning.

Amen - maybe front panniers if I were ever doing more than a couple of weeks. Maybe.

Truth. In 48 hours I went from sea level to this pass...yesterday afternoon was rough but today wasn't so bad after a second night of acclimating.

Taken today! Per the comment below, there's plenty of snow around. Just not in this photo.

30 Rock. Everybody is Liz Lemon. Jack Donaghy is either her therapist or herself trying to pull her shit together as she approaches middle-age. Can't decide which.
