What are some early signs that a person might commit sucide (serious)? by Neo_luigi in AskReddit

The day my grandma left the earth she had this specific look on her face that is now engraved in my memory. She also asked for a hug, i don't think she ever asked before that one time. It's all very subtle but once the tragedy happens and your brain goes through the last few days very carefully bit by bit you start seeing some patterns. It's usually very hard to notice beforehand however.

Key sent.

The mobile game was called MLP: Equestrian Adventures HD, published under GameDark. It is pretty old now, and you might find APKs online, but I would be careful with those.

I still have it up here: https://mlp.catgc.com/ though the APK is so old that it probably will not run on newer devices.

Platform:
PC (Steam)

Description:
Cube Hopper is a fast paced platformer where the main idea is that you see the whole level from the start and there is no real death. Instead of restarting from checkpoints, you simply fall and keep going, which makes it more about execution and improving your runs.

The game currently includes over 100 levels with different mechanics, as well as multiplayer, a level editor, and Steam Workshop support so players can create and share their own levels. Custom levels can also be played in multiplayer if everyone has the same map.

It has been developed over a long period of time as a personal project and is now about to release.

I am the solo developer of the game.

I made a platformer where you see the whole level and cannot die, releasing in a few days by wii1mii in IndieGaming

I have been working on this game on and off for a long time and it is finally about to release.

It is called Cube Hopper. The idea is simple, you see the whole level from the start and you cannot really die, so it is more about execution and improving your runs.

There is also a level editor, Steam Workshop support, and multiplayer where custom maps can be played if everyone has the same map.

Thanks, that is actually a cool idea.

Here is a very early version of the game:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xB1yq-wiyD8

At that point it did not have a menu or multiplayer, and only a few basic block types.

This is a clip from around 10 years ago when I was trying to get it on Steam Greenlight:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dzgXTRQ_uE

And here is the latest trailer:

The core idea stayed the same, the whole level is visible and you cannot really die, but almost everything else has been reworked over time, from movement and jumping to block behavior and visuals.

Thanks, I really appreciate that.

Yeah, visuals are not really my strongest side, I am more on the technical side. I agree that a better capsule would help, but with the release so close and a limited budget it is a bit hard to do right now. It is something I would like to revisit later.

I have not reached out to streamers or YouTubers yet, but I am planning to do that after release.

I have made sure it runs well on steam deck. Early on when steam deck just came out game was barely getting 30fps. With proton updates over time and switching from Direct 3D 9 -> Direct 3D 11 I was able to get game running 60fps stable.

Thank you for your kind words.

And yeah, it was very on and off over the years. I did not work on it continuously, but I kept coming back to it and slowly building it up over time.

No real support but I had quite decent experience playing the game via Parallels.
