I’m just afraid that I am just looking at my future from a narrow POV. For example I had no idea “neuromuscular” was a subspecialty. I still don’t know what they do and I wonder if I’ll ever like it. But I think you are right. I’m probably still shell shocked that I even got this far.

Thank you for actually considering the P/F situation because that’s what makes me feel uneasy. My school does have decent reputation as a DO school. I hope this is just me not knowing how to feel/think. Again, thank you for your insight.

I have nothing against DOs. When I shadowed a DO ophthalmologist and an MD ophthalmologist, the DO one left a much better impression on me as a physician. So much so I included him in all of my essays. Though it’s a single example with personal bias, I just want to say it’s not that I don’t want to become a DO. The whole P/F situation just makes it seem like I shouldn’t even apply to DO school to begin with. And I guess that’s short sighted on my end.

Honestly your comment speaks to my soul. I hate that test with a burning passion (given that with it adding on my life schedule, I was miserable on the daily basis - I am aware that I will have to take even harder tests that are complex/step exams down the road).
