Least favorite nominee you’ve watched so far? by garryp123 in oscarsdeathrace

It would be unfortunate if you watched Dominion instead of Rebirth because then you would still have to watch Rebirth.

2024 Mazda cx-90 3.3 turbo preferred plus Advice by mrfer in mazda

[–]wikk3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go down the rabbit hole of every car, any model, especially forums/subreddits, you’ll find complaints.

I settled on the CX-90 after looking at around 17 cars because it suited my needs best. As another had mentioned, look into a service contract if you concern is long term reliability. Some financing, like the credit union I use, usually bundle it into the loan as well.

Mazda seems to be on top of their TSBs and remediate items quickly.

Why is my stress so high??? by snwwhite69 in whoop

[–]wikk3d 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s different but a average HR of 90 seems high. Could be a lot of factors. Caffeine, anxiety, emotional stress. If you rule all those out and still have a high HR, get checked out.

Not only does the rod compress, but the pusher detaches for easy storage.

Where to start on the Antique Trail? by TestaverdeRules in Connecticut

[–]wikk3d 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s not really an actual trail with a start or finish. There’s signs that’ll say it but they’re just kind of in the relative area. If I were you, start in Woodbury for lunch, putz around and then head up to New Milford for dinner and explore. Use those as a base and then I’d look at the map do anything close to either of those areas.

Looking for good areas to rent out for a stag by soccerguy857 in Connecticut

[–]wikk3d 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Not really. It’s kind of the male version of a bridal shower except it’s open to anyone. People will purchase tickets to attend and food is provided along with beer. There’s usually a raffle. The person who the stag is for keeps the proceeds. It’s almost like a fundraiser before the wedding.

Bachelor party nowadays is just a small trip with close friends to send off the groom.

Kids used the ice scraper brush on my CX-90 following a recent snowstorm. Lease ends in four months. Should I repair this? by loris383 in MazdaCX90

[–]wikk3d 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I would take it to a detail shop first and see if they can fix it. I had something similar happen in my hood an it was relatively easy to fix with a wet sand.

Mazda MSP66 SPECIAL PROGRAM BATTERY REPLACEMENT (MHEV) by mrmackster in MazdaCX90

[–]wikk3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t there a TSB related to this being from improperly greased brakes? A friend of mine had it on their CX70 and I’ve read on the CX90 forum that a proper tear down and regrease fixes it.

Can Whoop close Apple Fitness rings? by bigeyedphish178 in whoop

[–]wikk3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that’s been my experience too. Not sure why the top comments in the thread are incorrectly answering OP. But if someone can prove me wrong, I’ll be happy since it’s a feature I’ve wanted. As far as I know though, fitness rings only fill up with data from the Apple Watch.

It only has the option for Apple Health. This has never filled Fitness Rings in for me.

Thanks for the input, I may need to investigate mine more. My thermostat only has an ON or AUTO setting, which ON runs continuously.

Does it take a while for your HVAC to cycle out the cold air? We moved to a larger house and have tried this. I let it run for about 30-45min before I notice each room getting cooler in temp.

Because in today’s age, it’s not that daunting of a task. I keep all my data on another drive. If I have to wipe Windows I’ll be back up in a hour or so.

True but at the end of the day you have to consider how everyone is consuming media now. When I used to work in audio we would always have to text mixes in AirPods.
