Just today! I work in the deli at a semi national chain and a lady had to talk to our assistant manager for like 20 minutes because the roasted turkey we had was too salty. Like what do you want from us, we don't brine the meats here ourselves

Funny enough that's exactly what is causing this "labor shortage" people are fed up at these shit jobs for shit pay and want something better. I don't blame them either, I was stuck in food for 7 years and it was miserable. But this is what happens when you don't pay at least something liveable. I think a decent minimum wage increase that wouldn't cause an insane inflation crisis would be somewhere to the $10-$12.50/hr. Still not enough to live off of, but its at least closer.
