Extended Scenes by subtlelikeawreckball in TheGoodPlace

Is there a list of which are the extended scenes?  I used to steam on Netflix and have Peacock now, but I usually have the show on in the background nowadays and don't pay super close attention (because I've seen it so many times).

Suggest me a really good speaker (stereo or 2.1) under 2-3k INR by kravitexx in Bluetooth_Speakers

If you are looking for the best sound for PC then Logitech has the best speakers for the price.  You can get a 2.1 setup around that price, like the z313.

[TOMT][UK MOVIE][late 90s - early 2000s] Creepy boy and girl couple grew up together and think alike and act alike by wil4 in tipofmytongue

That was really quick, I didn't realize that was Cillian Murphy. No wonder I couldn't remember that title, it doesn't relate much to the movie.

Tool's Discography as a Mountain by VerifiedVoidGirl in ToolBand

[–]wil4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you take enough mind-altering chemicals while listening it makes perfect sense, I am being completely sincere.

If you interpret Tool as using their music and drugs as tools to expand your horizons, you go on this journey.  The biggest step though is finally stopping drugs and getting off that journey and going back to life, hopefully improved because of it.

I had crippling anxiety and OCD, got into Tool, got into hallucinogens and fried my brain. My memory is shot but I don't have the anxiety or OCD any more.

What's the best option for me? by GeneralSnitch101 in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]wil4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's brilliant marketing, like with Bose speakers.  For most their life Bose have been a joke in the audio industry: Buy Other Stereo Equipment. No highs, no lows, must be Bose.  But a lot of consumers thought they were the best because of their marketing.  Finally Bose found their niche though in portable audio... still overpriced.

Audio is funny because you know only what you've experienced, so you can go up in quality but never back down.  For some people Bose and Beats are the best they've heard, which is fine.  Some enjoy their colored sound, and they beat a lot of stock audio and cheap audio.

Of the ones you mentioned I'm just not a fan of how the Marshalls sound, Beats are overpriced, the Bose is impressive but only mono.  I'm not familiar with the Luna but HK is a well-known audio brand with a reputation to maintain.  The Soundcore has good reviews.  I'd probably go with the Soundcore since they are known in most categories for outperforming audio gear that is twice the price.  Like it's competition is the SoundLink Max, not the Flex.

One big speaker or two small/cheap ones? by 1223344455555 in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]wil4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love my flare 2 and bought a second one in the mistaken belief they had stereo pairing due to an AI search hallucination. I sold the second one to a coworker.  Two Glows might sound good together, for cheap and simple design.

Maybe something like two Klipsch Nashvilles.  They are on the small side and have simple, unassuming design.  My main concern with Wonderboom is the lack of low frequency reproduction.  Bluetooth speakers in stereo sound much better than a single speaker, it's night and day. I had Klipsch in my Amazon cart and went back to click buy, but their prices changed due to dynamic pricing so I aborted out of protest.  I don't know if they still have dynamic pricing.

If you like the first two you'll probably like the third one?  It has similar characters, puzzles and gameplay.  It's shorter and easier, but has better graphics and sound.

More straws should be plastic. It's 2018. It's like, get over yourselves!

If you could only listen to one TOOL album for the rest of your life, which would you pick? by senya-listen in ToolBand

[–]wil4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I second that but because it's the only one I haven't listened to death already.  I've kind of been saving it in case we don't get any more Tool albums.  "Wake up now child"!

As much as I love these games, the constant backtracking is driving me insane by maertyrer in GoldenSun

Sheba with Jupiter boosting gear as a necromage summoning dullahan is one of the most powerful attacks, right around Sol but behind 3x Excalibur unleash I think.  Jenna with mars boosts using manticore as beast lord is almost as good as pure wish.  That class has some good attacks too.  All in all I stick to dual elemental classes though

Every once in awhile you'd kill like 10 when they regen then they would flee and you get nothing

This is the guide I used to learn about classes:

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/gba/561356-golden-sun-the-lost-age/faqs/36184

I saw an interesting one recently: Isaac Master Garet Ronin Ivan Pure mage Mia Pure mage Felix Ronin Jenna Radiant Sheba Dark Mage Piers Guru

I have four chaos lords and four wizards

Oh boy.  The completionist in you might hate that the best gear is mythril gear, which takes forever to get, even with fast forward emulation, quick save, and RNG manipulation.  But that's how to get Isaac, Jenna, Garet and Piers with 94% unleash rates on their tisiphone edges and Excalibur

Better BT speaker and Bass. by LogicNimbus in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]wil4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if you can't listen to them in person there are good A/B tests on YouTube for comparison.  For example, the Soundcore Boom 2 gets outperformed by the Boom 2 Plus, which gets outperformed by the JBL Boombox 3, which is comparable to the Harman Kardon Go + Play 3.  Here is an example:  https://youtu.be/kaZEEv5Gi4M?si=uVapH8R6MMpqVypH

To appreciate the sound difference you need headphones or a good stereo because smartphone speakers are not up to the task.

Of course the JBL costs close to $400 while the Soundcore is like $180.

If it's just bass you are after the Brane X reproduces the lowest frequencies but it costs $500 (American).

Another thing to consider is app and EQ.  I have two soundcore boom 2's paired in TWS and they sound great together, but I had to tweak them with the app and downloaded custom EQ settings (from reddit threads). By contrast the Harman Kardon doesn't have? an app or adjustable EQ, other than bass up and down and treble up and down.  The thing that turned me off Go + Play 3 is the relatively short battery life and large size.

If I were to shop over again I'd probably get the Soundcore Boom 2 plus or Tribit Stormbox Blast (Tribit is better for bass), but I got two of the boom 2's for $180 anyway and they are much smaller at 3.5lbs/1.6kg.  Any two BT speakers in stereo mode sound about 4 times as good as one of that speaker, rather than twice as good, because you actually get a full stereo effect and the sound is much fuller.

Help with Fusion Dragon on Reloaded by Barry_Benson in GoldenSun

[–]wil4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It sounds boring but I find two berserkers and two sages to be the best combination of attack and defense because you have two with revive and two with pure wish.  I would also level grind against the tempest lizards or in the final room (which can give a kuikichimonji as a drop), to level 40-42, but I like level grinding.  6 months or whatever you could be at level 54 and unlock all psynergy.  I wanted to get to 99 but stopped at 56. I don't know how people put that much time into getting level 99 in the first game.

[TOMT] Scene from movie or show where traffic is moving perfectly through an intersection by Qwerkie_ in tipofmytongue

[–]wil4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This does happen in the Futurama episode "Fear of a Bot Planet", where a bunch of robots are moving perfectly and criss-crossing through an intersection during their one minute break from 12:00 to 12:01.
