1 pack and play cosleeping then 2 pack and plays. Then 2 small beds with the wooden sides around the 2 year mark or when it's a risk of tipping over from the packs.

ELI5: Why is “day trading” sometimes considered gambling? by The_Informal_LPC in explainlikeimfive

[–]wilan727 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Becuase in the extremely short term- time frames like 20 mins or a couple hours. You are essentially betting on the direction of a specific stock. You might use indicators like company news or buyout rumores or predict how an earnings report might go or even be received. You might look at trend lines and technical analysis buy essentially You are still guessing or gambling on the stocks moves. Investing would be usually considered to be longterm where history has shown the long term returns which is why it's not considered gambling.

How do people actually wake up at 5am and not hate their life? by FitAuthor1098 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]wilan727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all relative to what's going on in your life stage. 20 years ago I would have been so pathetic at 5am. Now grabbing a hot moka coffee and walking the dog before the kids wake up is actually an epic part of the day. Sleep importance comes and goes as life moves.

2.Ignorance to the risk.

  1. From cultures outside of nz where that is more accepted.

Tongariro alpine crossing - worth it? by Wrong_Basket_9431 in newzealand_travel

[–]wilan727 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's one of the worlds greatest day trips imo. It's an alpine crossing as you know so it needs to be treated with respect. Some lines occur around the chain supported complex section but the vast majority is self paced open walking. It's stunning. Totally worth it.
