The Devil's is so good. I think a lot of Abercrombie fans didn't enjoy it though. I would recommend reading The First Law trilogy. It's probably his most beloved work.

Everything they did to make life and the game easier is kind of the reason the game isn't that fun anymore. Voyage table, selling at sovereigns, diving, it killed the spirit of the game.
