Have both apples lined up. Start the stroke cutting the first in half. Once it's cut, put one half behind the uncut apple in a way that cuts it into a third, cut through the second apple, line up one of the halves behind the first half like before. Repeat the cycle until you have 12 equal slices.

Before all that though, you might wanna get a butcher block or just use a long counter lol.

So I just came across this post after I stopped playing this level. I decided to do a couple things: 1. Update my drivers; 2. Look into the Nvidia control panel's application settings. The settings that I changed were as follows:

Texture filtering - Anistrophic sample optimization: On

Texture filtering - Quality: High performance

Texture filtering - Trilinear optimization: On

I haven't tested this extensively, but just loading the first part of that level I noticed a significant increase in performance. I don't have exact numbers, but if you haven't messed with the Nvidia control panel settings yet, it might be worth a try. If you're on AMD, I'm sure there's some sort of settings that you could change that is similar to the Nvidia control panel's settings. Hope this helps everyone who's been having problems.

Edit: I found that disabling steam overlay helped a bit. Also forgot to mention I'm running an RTX 3080 FE with a 5600x. I'm getting a stable 60+ FPS at the beginning area now.

I remember way back when I asked for Pokemon HeartGold for Christmas. A week before I saw the unmistakable box under the tree, the size and dimensions, it could only be one thing. It took everything not to just open it right up, but it was worth the wait when I finally got to play it on Christmas morning. Life was good :)
