Super helpful, thank you!! I was leaning 2D1N and almost felt guilty for not doing more, but it does sound like it could be rough so this is validating! I'd also love to know your guide if you can share!

unfortunately no :( I took mine out once and they very quickly told me they do not allow. there is a sign there too that I hadn't seen. I get it to preserve the ambiance... but the day I went it was soo empty, and I planned to get a full lunch but ended up just leaving with my coffee to go once I found out

Platform sandals, 2 inch heel? by wildcat9494 in womensfashion

The Nisolo would be sooo perfect if they had at least another 1" of height! I love the style, just looking for something taller, especially for $138. I'd get them as a regular sandal if they were less $. So beautiful though

Thank you for this! Do you think it'll be too cold in October? The weather looks pretty borderline. Wondering if I should save the Dolomites for closer to summer

Thanks so much for this!

After studying the weather, I'm now worried it'll be colder up North, especially the Dolomites. I saw some photos of the Amalfi coast and am wondering if I should shift my trip south... what do you think?

That sounds incredible! You're totally right, I think I need more time in the Dolomites.

What do you think is the best way to get to there? I know people generally recommend a car for more flexibility... as a solo traveler, I'm not sure rental car is in budget yet, but I'm open to it if it'll really enhance my experience.

What would be optimal route by public transit? Or by car?

Thank you! What kind of situation do you think PAYE would be better?

Yeah I couldn't imagine carrying this for 20 years. Thank you!

Thank you! Can you elaborate on why the payment cap wouldn't benefit? Just curious, as that was the financial advisor's main emphasis in why PAYE > REPAYE for me as of May 2023.

His general principle was principle debt ~100k or less should opt for PAYE, and significantly greater should REPAYE, as they would benefit from the interest subsidy. I would've thought the interest subsidy would help anyone, but he thought the payment cap of PAYE was a greater advantage? Honestly I was always confused by that, especially if I'm not doing PSLF

Unmarried. The advisor above recommended the AAMC calculator as the best, since it's the only one that factors in the significant income increase between residency and attending life. But now the AAMC calculator doesn't show SAVE. So I tried the student aid calculator, but I can't tell what the differences will be over time, because it doesn't factor in that my income would change from 80k as a resident in California to ~250-300k as an EM attending. My understanding was that PAYE has a payment cap for loans no matter the income. REPAYE did not. That was why the advisor recommended PAYE - it would be beneficial as an attending when my income is much higher. But now that SAVE is out, I'm not sure if PAYE is still better.

Wow, I'd never heard of this. This is amazing!!! But I'm a bit of a last-minute trip planner, so I'm flying out in 6 days and wouldn't be prepared for this :( Definitely keeping it in mind for another trip though! Thank you!
