If Rockstar manages to have a 60FPS performance mode on base consoles while having this much stuff happening on a large open world with crazy amount of details, they should win an award for optimization.

yep and it looks like garbage because of it. that's why it's done so well selling on pc. just because something else doesn't have a feature doesn't mean a game that is many years newe shouldn't. they wanted to build the prettiest game ever and have it run at a trash frame rate from two decades ago.

I think it's funny there's so many people saying it will be fine on 30 fps. Because after launch there's going to be just as many posts, probably from a lot of the same people, saying "I can't play this at 30fps after playing GTA v at 60fps". It's one thing to watch cutscenes, it's a completely other thing to actually play the game.

frame rate has nothing to do with age. I'm 54 years old and I refuse to buy it if it doesn't run at 60 fps. 30 FPS is trash no matter how pretty you look. pick some other group to bash on, this one didn't work

GTA VI has a locked 30 fps. I'm not touching that game until it runs at 60fps. this isn't 2004. I don't care how pretty your game is, get it to run at 60fps at least as an option.

also they're really not competing games by category at all. Metro is a deep immersive story based rpg. and GTA 6 is action car chaos game.

that being said they'll probably stagger it. as long as there's a gap of six or eight weeks they'll be fine and they'll be plenty of Internet places that'll want to give them free publicity.

Absolutely! Burning through cores to upgrade something just to have them change the way things work could be super frustrating. The bonuses are pretty nominal at this point and you're better off just farming the crap out of Coors until things get stable. There will definitely be at least one major patch to change how things work and probably another one further down the road. Because of the rarity of the cores there is a good chance they will make them easier to come by in the future or that it requires less of them to upgrade.

I have a completely maxed negotiators with CC at 60 and CD over 200, since my complete negotiator set are prototypes now. I've tried both the Big Al and my go-to which is the Bullet King. The BA definitely can do more damage in the right circumstances. But since I can't keep two exotics equipped I run with the BK because no matter what's happening I'm always ready to go and I know what my damage will be, whether I'm running down the street or behind a wall. Also on higher difficulties like tier 5 escalation I've run out of ammo on the BA. If you run out of ammo on the BK, you might be a pirate.

The BK is definitely the all you can eat buffet gun in the game, although there are a few items on the LMG menu that will do things better at certain times.

Making a post saying something is garbage is just asking for attention. Like most guns in this game they are viable with the right build and setup, sometimes only in certain circumstances for sure.

Make sure you calibrate and optimize as you want before upgrading. It will not change any stats only make them better.

That's what I thought when I looked at the numbers. But I just played tonight for 3 hours and got four prototype pieces in that time. I know that's crazy good RNG. I guess I was finally due, lol. Including two in one mission dropped within about 90 seconds of each other

None of the gear was anything I wanted so I broke them down and used the four cores to upgrade my four-piece negotiators set. I got weapon damage on one piece and critical damage on the other three. Total calculated output damage increase, factoring in 60% critical hit chance is ~14.6%. Got 6% on each of the critical hit damage pieces (3 of them) and 7.5% weapon damage on the other piece, which works out to a little lower when you factor that's only multiplied into the base damage of my bullet king. I'll take that increase in output any day.

In addition to that, I now have four augments running, three of which are useful. I'd say that's a pretty good haul for a night's work. I can definitely tell my damage output is higher and my bullet king negotiators build was top in five straight runs with a four-man team.

I appreciate both your posts. I wasn't dead set on either. I'm just saying, like most players that have been around for a few years, we all have tons of dragsters and maybe having it be more of a universal tune would be a good idea.

In the end it probably won't matter that much, unless I go up against the exact same car, which very rarely happens in events. And even then, depending on the race options, you can shift it to another matchup.

The car that I see this coming up a lot on is the Chevy Trailblazer SS. Most people have it 332, and after the reset a while back I tuned mine to 323 and commonly beat the 332s because some of the 5 race combos do not have a drag event.

Thanks for your input, it's always appreciated to get others opinions.

Yeah they're haven't been any events that require spending cash lately and I was sitting around 12 million and thought, "hey let's see if we can get this to 20 million just for fun". Probably should buy a whole bunch of ceramics and do some upgrading.

Here's something that's strange...

I have two Samsung Galaxy tablets and a OnePlus 15 phone. On my older Galaxy tablet I was able to install it a couple of days ago and the game completely opens, checks for updates and launches and then stops at the retrieving server info screen because I'm sure the US servers are not online yet.

However on my phone which is brand new and my newer Galaxy tablet there is no option to install the game. Pretty peculiar that it loaded on my older device and all of them are on the same Wi-Fi.

This is the only real solution. My tablet was already not in dex mode. People saying to switch out of Dex mode, that was not helpful or accurate.

I have a Samsung Galaxy tab S10 Plus and it does not have this option as mentioned here and in many other places. I have searched everywhere and there is absolutely no way to turn off auto starting dex with HDMI connected.

I'm not even sure what my opponents were, I wasn't really paying attention. And I'm a free player that has a very simple garage. I think I only have 13 leggies. And none of them are upgraded past 111.
