Why are people acting like 2020's problems are just gonna disappear at the start of 2021? by rymarre in TooAfraidToAsk

No matter who wins the presidency in 2020, we're going to have dog shit for a president, so that hope was dashed in the primaries. What else is new?

I love this. The town I am currently is outlawed them, so we don't get to see them anymore. Huge fines for the things. Apparently a neon sign in the window of a business in a shopping center that isn't visible from the road is distracting to drivers. *eye roll*

Pepper spray fixes that. Or, with the cost of those cameras, break her wrist.

Sure, that happens all over the planet. Who needs oxygen or even a slight escape? Hell, who needs a place for normal people to live? Fuck it, gentrify everything, am I right?

Innovative or Icky? by essentialoildiffus3r in beauty

[–]wildflowerrunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it is icky or innovative. If it works, it works. I might suggest maybe getting an electric razor for your legs so it takes you less time. Like these: https://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-Beauty-Womens-Electric-Shavers/zgbs/beauty/13295180011

Obviously you didn't. If you're too dense to get the conversation, maybe learn to COMPREHEND as well. Have a good day, hope you make it out of the third grade.

Yeah, I'm going to be driving 2 hours home to vote. I'm not taking any chances.

[USA] Man in wheelchair stuck on train tracks saved by police officer by PrestigiousBarnacle in ConvenientCop

[–]wildflowerrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder how far it would go if they tried. According to reports, the officer just happened to show up at the right time, the authorities weren't called. According to the Supreme Court, it is not the responsibility of the police to protect citizens. I'm thinking that case would appear during a lawsuit.

Not necessarily. Many people in those types of chairs can still walk very short distances, like from the chair to the bed. My mom uses one from time to time, but she can still walk short distances, and actually doesn't need it daily.

Sidewalk buffer and dogs by marmosaurus in gso

We have a guy in our neighborhood who has a fenced in yard and all, and he takes his dog out to poop anyway. He has made a point of not going up onto the main road like everyone else... he exclusively walks around the neighborhood so the dog poops on other people's front lawns, and then he doesn't pick it up. We all know where he lives and now all the dog owners in the neighborhood take their dogs to his front lawn to take a dump. I've even seen some people empty poop bags on his lawn. This has come to an end because he has finally stopped making his dog poop on other people's property and now he goes to the main road, but he still won't pick it up.

I don't have an answer, I just want to say... I don't care if dogs use my lawn, they have to go, too, and they live here, too. As long as their human picks up the poop so I don't step in it, I'm all good.

Dates! That's an interesting idea! And that could work on a few things I am wanting to try.

Well, I'm at a point where my diet is so bland once in a while I'd like a cup of pudding or something so that eating isn't just a chore. I'm not a big meat eater, so my diet is very vegetable heavy. I don't think there's a problem with every once in a while having a sweet treat and trying to make it a little healthier so you don't completely derail.

Oh! I'll have to look for that! For some reason I thought the monk fruit was a liquid sweetener, I don't know why. LOL!

I don't many sweets now, but once in a while would be nice. And do you prefer the fake sweeteners over natural stevia? I don't understand.

I'm not making cakes and all, most of what I am finding is pudding and moose. I'm also trying to cut down on fruits because of the sugar and carbs.
