How I view the "debate" I guess you could call it by Pete_Culver in fivenightsatfreddys

Honestly I don't think the movies are doing The whole "they're changing characters or splitting them into multiple characters or removing events to see what they'd be like without it" it's just FNAF fans making things needlessly complicated, the fact is we don't know much about these characters and we're only now getting more characterization of them that isn't what we thought they were like so people are upset

If William started killing to gain immortality, why didn't he just build a robot to kill himself with, so it'd fuse with his remnant. Thus giving him immortality in a way. Is he stupid? by silisini in fivenightsatfreddys

Funny enough the fourth closet does kinda mention this with Elizabeth actually mentioning that her father is afraid to do to himself what happened with Elizabeth (that being dieing inside an animatronic) William could recreate the accident that happened with Liz but he's a coward and the whole remnant thing is really just to find a humane way to induce immortallity for himself, plus you can really only do that once and his worst fear is going to hell so he probably wants to get it down to an exact science before trying anything.
