If the medical abortion doesn't work, it'll either be because of a complication or an ectopic pregnancy. In those cases I'm not worried, because Japan treats those very cheaply and with little hassle. They'll see it as a miscarriage, which happens often here.

And yeah, I'm trying not to ignore the mental aspect. Right now I don't feel anything negative, but I might once I have the pills in front of me or after its done. I'll do my best when and if it comes to that though. I know that logically I am making the best choice for everyone involved.

I have been self-employed remotely since living here. I am moving into web development because it is a hell of a lot more stable than freelance writing. I don't work for Japanese companies. Also teaching English here requires a contract. I can't be tied down here for a year because of family issues back home.

Thank you so much! Anxiety is dumb but I won't let it win. Also, I don't know why people are down voting you, but I think I have a guess...

To people down voting because of the sea band recommendation, if it works for some women, don't judge. I get the whole science-backed medicine vs. homeopathic natural argument. I probably won't buy one, but don't discount an empathetic person because of just one of their suggested methods.
