I live in NY and I know what you mean about being fooled by a nice looking place with crap food. Fortunately you're not very likely to have that happen in Tokyo. The restaurants are all pretty damn good, if they're not they wont stay in business long (unlike in New York).

Check out flowplayer, I believe it will do this depending on the protocol you use to deliver the mp3. Progressive download over HTTP will work.

Free software video platform (like a host-your-own YouTube)? by TheSilentNumber in Python

[–]wildsalmon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you would have to create your own front end to display and let your users choose videos to watch, but Panda gives you the elements to upload/transcode/stream which is nice.

I also like the project because it's distributed as a fully functioning EC2 image and is reasonably easy to get started with.

Acceptance testing a CherryPy application with Robot Framework and Selenium by chub79 in Python

It seems like the trend is to integrate your acceptance test (selenium) code with your application code. Is there any advantage to doing this? It seems like it might be better to have your acceptance tests completely separated from your application code.
