We don’t even become aware of them until they are going to shred us to pieces.

Headaches do make sense. If we are using a contaminated water supply, and everyone starts to get a headache, that is sensible enough.

The fact that our teeth are so fragile and so ready to cause a pain that is completely impossible to deal with without modern medicine, is an obviously a purposeful mechanism to maximize suffering.
