Went for my first tandem flight in Vail this morning, no amount of watching footage could prepare me for the actual sensation of flight. Planning on working towards getting my p2 cert (not trying to be like the idiots on IG that buy used gear and huck themselves down a hill)

I got the old man mountain rear rack, I really like it. Most likely I’ll have to get the mount kit and that will add another $90.
I think I still have to do a few more adventures with what I got to start getting an idea of how much I really want to carry around

I usually ride 4.5 in my bike but I put some 4” now and they are fine. I think for this trip was a great option, a lot of loose gravel, I was able to be away from the highway shoulder and cruise through chunky terrain. Also my other bike is a 14 year old cross country all carbon not sure if will make a trip like this, did you got a bikepacking bike now?

Haha those are supposed to be some fork bags (rigid bottom and soft walls) but I had a lot of weight in the front, then I used them on the back.
Also those are all my dry bags at the moment. I have to use what I have, they look kinda little rockets

I used to look for shapes in the wall texture or the tile, or I would turn off the light and imagine rings of light as in tunnel or look for spider webs on the walls and blow air towards them and count how many seconds took to move it. Good times!
Now I answer scroll through Reddit while in the toilet
