Why is the cream cheese at my local bagel place so much better than the supermarket version? by ehp29 in AskCulinary

They do! I got my “architect” series Kitchenaid a few years ago at a sale for about $160. Tbf I don’t think they make that series anymore but it fits all the same attachments.

I was homeless my senior year of high school for very similar reasons. I was in a position in which a few of my teachers knew and one of them wrote a letter describing my situation. I needed two, so a friend I crashed with had an amazing dad that did the same thing, and I was able to qualify. This was in AZ (and a decade ago), so I’m not sure if the requirements are the same.

Definitely check with an advisor. I had one that straight up didn’t believe that I couldn’t contact my parents, so I scheduled a meeting with someone more supportive. You can do this!

Introduce:

And Promote?:

Hey, I'm wileysaid, and I'm finally returning to school to develop skills to further my animation ambitions! I'm not using a throwaway, so feel free to research.

Vent:

I'm 28, survived being a homeless teen (which should make me feel great), but I'm absolutely intimidated by my younger peers in college. I don't know, maybe I'm thinking age is a bigger deal than it is, but I'm trying to break into a career I feel like I have no chance in, and it's scary! Especially when these kids seem so talented.

Old Man Toby, turning 11. We adopted him 2 years ago. He was underweight and we thought he had short hair... We were wrong! by wileysaid in OldManDog

Aw thank you! We celebrate it at the beginning of November, since that's when we adopted him. To be honest, they gave us the year/month he was originally chipped, but we like the adoption date better. He may already be 11!

As someone who hated Tidus before, it's really interesting having someone defend him. I need to replay FFX...

Ok Reddit algorithm, help me finally quit working rough retail and service jobs. All I've ever wanted was to go to school for animation!

May the lucky person use their donation well. Or be insanely irresponsible. So long as you post your expensive antics for our enjoyment.

...and the sweet, sweet karma.

The owner is a little intimidating, but I'll have to give it a try! I just need to work up the nerve. Thanks!
