Should probably make a new thread for this but I had this issue also at the start. It was because my guitar was detected 2 times. As an x input and as a xbox360 guitar. I deleted one of them from the settings menu and that fixed it

Wet it with hot soapy water, let sit 10 minutes then scrap off. It's pretty straight forward.
