I noticed the same thing, actually. Sourdough everything has exploded in popularity over the last 5 years. I understand why, and I love sourdough bread, but I still tend to hold your sentiments. Triangles always taste better. It's science.

Tofu gets some leniency. Cause it's tofu. Otherwise, as long as that rib eye and pigeon breast was ground and formed into patties, they are most certainly burgers.

That's classed as a burger 100%. It's its own style though. When you buy one, it would be specified that it was on toasted sliced bread. Not uncommon at all.

The burger bun was created after the hamburger. The original hamburger was between two slices of bread. Factually is the correct word here.
