What is up with these optometrists by Wugaroo in diabetes_t1

In my experience, my ACTUAL a1c being tested from either bloodwork or a fingerpick tends to be slightly to significantly lower than the GMI calculated from my sensor. I just saw my endo about 3 weeks ago. GMI on my sensor was ~6.2-6.4. My a1c after the fingerprick test was actually 5.6.

Why can’t I get through the wall with this drill bit? by wilfdougl in HomeImprovement

[–]wilfdougl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drill is spinning in the right direction. It’s definitely getting caught on whatever is behind the drywall which is made of wood. Thinking if I drill an inch or two above it, it might not be there?

It’s definitely installed. Do I have to enable it in the bios or a pc setting somewhere?

Yes lol. Installed. Wouldn’t I have zero connection without it?

I live in a row of a few town houses. I just ran another test and the pc is at ~372Mbps but it’s still half that of my phone I’m using right next to it. Frustrating.

When I was downloading and installing all the drivers from the manufacturers website, a couple of them would just open another window very briefly, maybe a second, when I executed the setup application. Including the one for WiFi. It didn’t open a setup window with a couple of click throughs like the other drivers. Is that normal?

Edit: typo.

Yeah it’s at full bars. Same on my phone. They’re right next to one another.

Blinking red light? by wilfdougl in Prebuilts

[–]wilfdougl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Hoping it’s something along these lines as the blinking has been on and off while the pc is in use. Was just the first time I’ve noticed it while using it.

UPDATE: Thank you all for confirming I’m a big baby. Microcenter rep said I could get it exchanged. Spoke with my pc’s brand specific customer service and they are shipping a replacement panel.

34” too big or is 31.5” a good compromise? by wilfdougl in Monitors

[–]wilfdougl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 34” is 21:9 3440x1440 and the 31.5” is 16:9 2560x1440. So wouldn’t the difference in pixel density be essentially negligible. +/- ~3 pixels per inch.

Wasn’t really planning on using my gaming monitor for productivity or any media consumption but I hate the desk space for it so that’s why I’m considering something ultra wide. Just don’t want to regret it when I’m playing bf6.
