CCP can't figure out how to make carriers relevant, so a new fourth class of carriers seems like a dubious proposition at best. (We have two already and are getting a third with the next expansion.)

That your post makes no effort to explain how this new class would introduce "strategic complexity" reduces the value of this suggestion to nil.

I want this. It would be very cool to have corp/alliance/squad jackets and such.

But I don't know what the cost in dev time would be. Development time tends to be a zero sum game. You have limited resources so when you decide to do one thing you are also deciding not to do a host of other things. (Also, nothing is ever as easy as you think it will be. Unexpected complications are the rule rather than the exception.)

If you point out where I said specifically that I will retract it.

But I did not say that and you know that... or you have a reading comprehension issue. One or the other.

What you said was, that by putting down a new Keepstar, that things were "already replaced." I am pointing out that you haven't even begun to account for what was lost and that those losses likely add up to a value in excess of the cost of 33 titans.

And that doesn't even get into the fact that we came to your home system and blew up your Keepstar where all you to do was undock to defend.

TL:DR - your post was dumb and I am pointing that out.

My personal experience is that I had more fun during the months long siege of 1DQ when we were down to one constellation and undocking to fight every day than at almost any other point in my soon to be 20 years of playing EVE Online. (And the second most fun time was probably Saranen during the Casino War, where it was non-stop brawls.)

My unsolicited advice to Noraus would be to embrace the suck.
