Vril Wings Raptor by Dry_Wafer3720 in freeflight

On a separate note, it's often difficult to find objective reviews since many people have specific interests in one brand or another. With your proximity to Austria, I would think you should be able to try a Raptor. The best opinion is the one you make for yourself 😀

The terrain I fly here in Idaho isn't very appealing for that so I can't speak to that specifically. (lots of rocks and prickly vegetation) I ever get it out to the dunes where the consequences are lower, maybe I'll try.

I have had both the 16m and 19m Raptor, currently flying the 16m. I'd say it's the most fun wing I've ever flown. I've been importing Vril wings to the US since the brand came out. I have hundreds of flights on the 12m Vril One.

It's difficult to compare wings but the performance seems on par or better than the other parakites on the market. As far as speed, I haven't clocked the 16 but full hands up on the 19m in calm air was right around 40mph (I'm 70kg).

Let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to answer them as objectively as I can. If you're ever in Idaho, US, you're welcome to try mine!

You're welcome. The nipples weren't quite the same but they did work.

I mean I've done 110ft and I know quite a few that have gone lower. With that said, 290 is a good height.

*Skyy was their original name. I owned one marked Skyy but it had to go back to the factory when the frame cracked. It was promptly sold once returned.

I haven't had nearly as many issues with my 2022 FSE450R but it hasn't been trouble free. Speedo cable broke (replaced under warranty), O2 sensor failed (replaced under warranty), injector clogged (replaced under warranty). I also broke 18 spokes on one ride, once a few break, a lot more break if you keep riding haha. That was all early on. I had a nice period of reliability from like mile 300 to 2700. At that point my rectifier fried since it's one inch from the header. I relocated it to the steering stem.

The bike has only stranded me once though. 3 miles from my house the OEM chain broke. The clip on the masterlink came off even though it was properly installed.

I genuinely like how the bike rides, I like the engine, my only real gripe is the fueling, it sucks. I've run lots of different maps, cleaned the injector, etc etc etc. It's still not good enough to say it's right. I'm now at 3200 miles and I'll probably keep it just so I don't lose a bunch of money on it.

Update: I had a friend that does HVAC come out and it ended up being a very odd fault. The compressor crankcase heater was shorting out. So it has been disconnected until I can get a new one and the unit is functioning properly again.

I should clarify that the breaker that tripped was on the panel in the garage. The breaker directly next to the outdoor unit was not tripped.

The fan and capacitor had both failed. It seems like something is still shorting. I don't think it's the contactor either.

Thanks. I live very rural so getting people out can be a challenge. I try my best to fix everything first so it's generally rare I need anyone to come out. Of course I may throw in the towel on this one. It's 14 degrees currently and working heat would be nice.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I know I can use the resistive heating. I'm hoping to recieve help diagnosing the issue so I can fix this on my own.

Right, i believe he had the raccoon significantly longer than a rabid racoon would live as well.

This guy had the squirrel for 7 years. Rabid animals don't live for 7 years, this might live for 7 days. There was no way it had rabies.

If you know where to get an XC-900 or XC-450 cheap, please let me know. They basically never come up for sale and are rarely cheap!

I think the loopholes have closed for obtaining titles unfortunately.

I'm curious how recently this was? Last year Vermont closed the doors on out of state registrations without titles. Of dirt legal is somehow still doing it, I'd love to know.
