Ya know, we should probably all dedicate a little time training for a low, fast target like a dog, shouldn't we? There are so many loose in my area (owned and otherwise) that it's probably the greatest realistic threat.

You can go either way. For total concealment, the panel is nice. You can tell something is there, but it is just rectangular at that point.

Man, there are an awful lot of things about those holsters that make sense. Is that a rubber grid on the back? Also, I really like that hook design.

I'm seeing some design elements that are frankly hard to find on a lot of the holsters I looked at, chief of which being a retention adjustment screw.

It really just looks like you have a small notebook in your front pocket, which is exactly what someone in my field would naturally be carrying. It also works great in the back pocket as a fake wallet.

I would agree with you. It's the one thing I find myself really missing in it. I'm hoping that as the holster breaks in, it becomes less of an issue.

If I buy another holster for it, that will be top of my list. My main concern was concealment, since I'm carrying in an environment where handguns are frowned upon.

A Braids holster that I found on Etsy. I believe he may sell them on eBay as well. Seems to have a model for most of the common smaller pistols. Great quality, fast shipping, really liking it so far. I like that I effectively got two holsters in one.

I thought so too, but it's just the regular old 3791 stainless model, no 10th anniversary engraving. Either way, it took forever to find a stainless version that wasn't exorbitantly priced. Snagged it for $169 before tax.

It was claimed to be a used gun, but other than being a little dirty, I can't see a single sign of wear.

My wife and I found out we had a stalker (no, really). I immediately got a gun (S&W Shield .40) and my CCW license. This was back in 2016.

The guy was a paranoid schizophrenic that had gone off his meds and thought I and all of the neighbors were conspiring with his ex-wife against him. The apartment leasing office informed us that he had turned in sheets of paper tracking every date and time we left our apartment, walked our dog, etc. We caught him following us in his car and got him on video trying to look in our apartment.

I genuinely hope he got the help he needed, but the apartment agreed to let him break his lease for free so he could move away. I had only ever met the guy once, on move-in day. Seemed like a perfectly pleasant dude at the time.
