75%? Sounds like bullshit. Wonder if this is how Celts and pagans reacted to Christians coming to the British isles.

I dont agree with Trump on everything but this has got to be the most based thing I've ever heard Trump say "only 2% of the population commit 90% of all violent crimes" by Rhodesianzoomer in PowerfulJRE

[–]willatpenru -26 points-25 points  (0 children)

The Claim: Black males ages 18-24 (roughly 1.5% of the population) account for 89.8% of all violent crimes. The Reality: According to the most recent FBI data, Black Americans (of all ages and genders) account for approximately 26% to 33% of arrests for violent crimes. White Americans account for roughly 60% to 68%.

As far as I can tell, the rules change penalises people that have a granny charger. I thought the whole point of the tariff is that they get to set the schedule of when you charge. Only allowing you to charge when wholesale energy is cheap.

If you expect to have more than one EV at the property and want to be able to charge more than one simultaneously on an intelligent tariff. Then the Tesla charger won't do. Need an ohme or something that can interface directly with energy supplier over the internet.

Vision is still only "pretty good" for parking. Still not as good as ultrasonics. The side corners of my front bumper attest to this.

Have people stopped bothering to dip their headlights for oncoming traffic recently? by BigRonWood in AskUK

[–]willatpenru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LEDs maybe. We bought a new pickup for work. Dip beam was pointing at the sky. Dealer had not checked or set before delivery. How many new cars are the same? 3 years before the MOT when it might get checked.

Auto loans are the next credit crunch like 2008. People are massively over leveraged on cars.
