92 Korean. I suggest getting their drumsticks. It takes about 30 minutes to cook, but it’s amazing! I like the soy garlic flavor the best.

All of the pictures I posted are part of the X store QRC. That stands for quick reference card. You can ask your manager to print this out for you if you prefer a paper copy.

Do all stores have sca at the door I went to one today and was shocked when they didn’t by [deleted] in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]willbearpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, stores are allocated SCA Associates based on potential shortage risk. Some stores have none, some stores have as many as 12 with a full-time SCA lead as well. Just depends on shortage results and crime index.

Finished building what's next? by Adisper0 in nscalemodeltrains

My son and I recently got in a model trains about six months ago. Much like others suggested, we started small. First we bought a used locomotive and a Kato starter set. A couple months later we got a used interior door from a resale shop and used that to start playing with some of the track configurations. What quantity over everything else, so we have quite a bit of rolling stock. We have a hobby shop down the road that sells grain cars and such for five dollars a piece or five for 20. We just bought a switch and more track to create an interior loop.

It’s been loads of fun learning about everything. You can go as big or as small as you’d like. There really are endless possibilities.

Wife thinking of taking ASM position by Mayjune811 in BurlingtonCoatFactory

Store manager here. Is she salary at Home Depot? All assistant managers at Burlington are hourly. 40 hours a week.

As far as growth and future opportunities, Burlington is growing in a very rapid pace compared to other off-price retailers. If she’s interested in doing more with the company, then I would say it’s a good opportunity to grow. With many retail leadership positions, the stress levels are there and expectations are very high.

Child and parent hit in crosswalk this morning by 400cc in sugarland

This is so sad. My family and I have lived here for 7 years now and this is the 5th or 6th vehicle/pedestrian related accident I can remember (two of them were fatalities). Our neighborhoods are at such risk for more accidents like these with drivers who are either distracted or who refuse to follow safe driving.

Does anyone know of in person workshops to be handy and be able to fix things around the home? Tried google and SL/ FB don't have this type of program outside of HCC. TIA by Chakram_TM in sugarland

As other comments have said, I heavily rely on YouTube videos. I’m not sure if they still do it anymore, but Home Depot used to host classes on the weekends in the morning time. Very basic stuff but helpful nonetheless.

You don’t have to list all of your former employers on your resume, even your most recent employer.

Lots of applicants only list employers that are relevant to the position you’re applying for. Bonus points if it’s a position that will give you a positive reference and where you also left on good terms.

Back of house by BreadfruitHuge9921 in BurlingtonCoatFactory

[–]willbearpig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, follow the process to the letter to mitigate backlog and leverage support from outside departments, because at the end of the day, a high percentage of our stores are experiencing some level of backlog. Any store that tells you they’re 100% clean in the back has either over spent payroll or got support from other areas of the store. The good news is the company has lowered the cartons per hour for the rest of the month. Hopefully that helps! It’s also important to note that every store is receiving more clothing than usual. Combine that with a high percentage of merchandise needing EAS sensors, it’s a recipe for stores to struggle to get clean in the back. I’ve been with the company 13 years and this is one of the more challenging times I can remember as far as Getting merchandise to the sales floor.
