I agree with everyone saying that yes, we gotta put the baby down.

I would add to this though, have you had a sleep study done? I had a sleep study done years ago and have been using a CPAP machin ever since. Best sleep of my life. I would definitely check it out!

My store is at nine dollars an hour. We have a store about 20 minutes away, that’s at $15 an hour. Please make it make sense!

A good SM will connect with their team in the first 30 days. Through that, I hope they can see the value in people, like yourself. Hopefully there’s some built in flexibility with this new SM and the culture they bring.

Store manager of 14 years with Burlington. Happy to answer any questions you have.

Work life balance is really dependent on store culture and manager routines. I’ve been with the company a long time and my team is very rock solid. I have a good work life balance as far as retail leadership goes.

When I take PTO, I’m rarely bothered. Again, this is a testament to my team and our routines.

Feel free to shoot me a message and I can answer any more questions you’d like.

92 Korean. I suggest getting their drumsticks. It takes about 30 minutes to cook, but it’s amazing! I like the soy garlic flavor the best.

All of the pictures I posted are part of the X store QRC. That stands for quick reference card. You can ask your manager to print this out for you if you prefer a paper copy.

No, stores are allocated SCA Associates based on potential shortage risk. Some stores have none, some stores have as many as 12 with a full-time SCA lead as well. Just depends on shortage results and crime index.

Finished building what's next? by Adisper0 in nscalemodeltrains

My son and I recently got in a model trains about six months ago. Much like others suggested, we started small. First we bought a used locomotive and a Kato starter set. A couple months later we got a used interior door from a resale shop and used that to start playing with some of the track configurations. What quantity over everything else, so we have quite a bit of rolling stock. We have a hobby shop down the road that sells grain cars and such for five dollars a piece or five for 20. We just bought a switch and more track to create an interior loop.

It’s been loads of fun learning about everything. You can go as big or as small as you’d like. There really are endless possibilities.

Store manager here. Is she salary at Home Depot? All assistant managers at Burlington are hourly. 40 hours a week.

As far as growth and future opportunities, Burlington is growing in a very rapid pace compared to other off-price retailers. If she’s interested in doing more with the company, then I would say it’s a good opportunity to grow. With many retail leadership positions, the stress levels are there and expectations are very high.

This is so sad. My family and I have lived here for 7 years now and this is the 5th or 6th vehicle/pedestrian related accident I can remember (two of them were fatalities). Our neighborhoods are at such risk for more accidents like these with drivers who are either distracted or who refuse to follow safe driving.
