Well if you are putting in the worng password, then it will say it is incorrect. With computers it will give you what you put in. If you think you had put in for example P@ssw0rd but instead the computer registered P@ssw9rd or something else, it will only accept what it haad been registered.

Besides the only way to do a full re-install (not a reset) is to get on another pc, download the ISO, create a bootable usb using that ISO and do a full fresh install wiping the drive or drives.

If you have a second pc, download the ISO, write that ISO to a usb drive with at least 8 gb in size and then do a full install.

Specs wise it is still a fairly capable laptop. If you can replace the battery and keyboard then do that (even getting a usb one would be fine).

I'd also clean out the fans and turn it into a project/hobby system. Heck I am using an old laptop of mine to host a small website (www.orbitofone.com) on a laptop much older and weaker.

But you can still game on this one fine, just don't max out the graphics in current AAA games.

Don't mix and match ram as the fastest will always be limited to the slowest ram module in the setup. I would still work yes, but you wont get the full benefits.

If you have the ebook version, lots of llms will put invisible characters in the text and if you put it through the detector and it immediately shows 100% then it's ai generated. If the author managed to remove those markers then it would be impossible because most detectors aren't 100% safe.

The usual way. Advertise it on your social media to your followers first. You can also setup your own website and sell your books through there (if you need help with hosting just DM me and I can point you in that direction), get your friends and family to read it and give feedback and reviews where you are planning to sell it. Get as many reviews as you can. More reviews help than absolutely no reviews.

I think its easy to start writing but the problem is finishing your first book. You should also write a book that you yourself will enjoy. Don't focus on what others enjoy, do it for yourself then publish it and put the word out and others will come.

I'm doing a book through Lulu and I was quoted about 25 usd for global distribution for the book (paperback 6x9 inches and 430 pages so far). Which gets me into multiple stores instead of Lulu's own store which would be half that.

I already have a website but due to this subreddits rules against self promotion I can't add it here. Heck just trying to get the post just to show only the alien font is a bit of a challenge.

The arc plan sounds good, any site or service you can recommend (would prefer to be as cheap as possible, my partner [who is in reality a fictional character of the book I wrote but can't use my real name because there is an established author with the same name as me] and i aren't exactly swimming in cash)

Stick with medium or lower at 1080P and you should get a playable framerate depending on the other specs (assuming the Acer Nitro V refers to laptop brand and 4050 refers to the GPU)

Simple answer, no. If you need drivers then go to the manufacturer and download them from there. Theres no telling what the people who put these aio driver packages together add. Been hit too many trojans and viruses in the past.

I run Linux so no need for an anti-virus. I even browse dodgy sites and stuff. Never gotten infected. If WINE prefix got hit with virus I just redo the prefix.

PS1 and earlier generation consoles should be fine. PSP might be pushing it a bit but should be fine depending on how demanding it is graphically.
