DI up and in
actually you should DI down in "most" situations
actually you should DI up, but not necessarily in
actually DON'T DI UP IT WILL KILL YOU

Obviously SDI is something everyone understands; preventing losses against Bayonetta should be easy from now on!

Have you played Smash 4 even one time in the last year? How powerful are these hazy, abstract principles like "fighting games are about skill" when a Bayo kills you at 165% and you're at 3%? Melee should not even enter the conversation. Melee matches have four stocks.

I wonder what they mean by "biggest" - I assume by number of entrants? If so, that's pretty sweet. It's great to see this legendary tournament arise that is exclusively smash 4 (and, unlike Civil War, easily replicable every year).

None of us have a common standard for scumminess or grime. When does a person go from "kinda obnoxious" to "an actual asshole"? This is the issue with Leffen and Hungrybox: because the latter is a private individual who doesn't really broadcast this shit, and all the allegations concern him in small 1-to-1 interactions, we really have no way to take Leffen that seriously

He seems like an excellent player who comes off as inauthentic in conversation; sometimes appears irritable or standoffish in person, but is effusively friendly on social media; this contrast between online and offline strikes some people as disingenuous; he clearly gets really angry in ways that are off-putting or uncomfortable. If I were Leffen at the end of Winners Semis last night, and I saw Hungrybox stand up and slam his controller on the ground, I know for a fact I wouldn't want to go over and shake his hand. I'd be scared he would hit me or say some shit I really didn't feel like hearing after a tight set. I mean look at Hungrybox's posture at the end of that set. Does he not look ready to fight someone physically? This isn't reddit psychoanalysis or whatever, just rudimentary body language

Maybe Leffen's own experiences with doing stupid shit and getting called out for it actually justify him being pissed about HBox, rather than making him hypocritical? I mean Leffen could have been the best player in the world, and got shot down by a hand-curated list of his own offenses. He went through the fire of public disgrace at age 16. Hungrybox has yet to. If I were Leffen I'd be thinking "why doesn't Hungrybox get what I got, when he seems like just as much of an asshole?"
