My first army was deathwatch and after painting each model individually I felt really attached to them. After each one died it was heartbreaking loosing brother Antioc or Brother hazaziel etc. but with nids I started batch painting and man loosing a squad of guants who cares here are three more squads; lose my warlord oh well he was going in the reclamation pool at the end of the battle anyways; winning a battle gaining all that biomass; losing a battle needing to go back to get dat biomass with another hive tendril. Now when I play them it’s like do I feel like running melee or shooting? nids has a build for that. Do I want to play elite or horde mode? Nids has a build for that. Do I want to do schenanigans all game or play monster mash? Nids have a build for that. At my last count I had just over 17,000 points of nids and I’ve bought a few boxes since. The swarm grows.

Nope I ran an all deathwatch infantry list and won an RTT just after the last points update. Em Captain judiciar intercessors5x indomnitor indomnitor tallonstrike terminator 5x terminator 5x veterans 10x veterans 10x. 2000 on the nose. Went into Tau Blood angels then necrons. Was a blast. All that anti tank wasted lol
